your portfolio looks great and your works are beautiful! I really appreciate that you take the time to share personal tips, they are definitely helpful for other artists!
Thank you for this video. I love love love that you don't talk so unbelievably fast while you're talking. That impresses me as I am unable to follow along with tutorials/videos/workshops/etc. with presenters that talk a mile a minute. I truly appreciate your style. Thank you so much.
Hi! I'm applying for a textiles course and need guidance on creating a portfolio. It's been a while since I left school, so I don't have an existing portfolio. However, I hold an HNC in Floristry and an HND in Interior Design, and I've attended numerous night classes in various creative fields. Recently, I've been enjoying crocheting and making clothes. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of everything I've created. Any tips on how to best present my work and pull everything together would be greatly appreciated! Thank you, Lindsay 🫣
Hi, thank you so much for this brillant video! I was planning to make my own portfolio but I was thinking to use Wix or Squarespace until I saw your video. I did not considered Canvas before but your portfolio looks so good & professional, it's very tempting. I was wondering when we create a digital portfolio, do we have the option to have it public or keep it private? Sorry if my question sound naïve but it's new for me . Thanks again and to share yr beautiful Art work.🙏
@@cristina8928 so with Canva this is just generating a PDF file or a series of images. You can host them on a website or give people access to a download link but Canva won't be a "public" page that will display it like a website would 😄
@@ChloeMurphy_ Depends on the context of the portfolio. Some applications may want writing others not. If it's a portfolio marketing your work, I'd say it's up to you depending on the context of your practice. If you feel as though some writing enhances the work then do it 👍

@@TomasFolanHasici Thank so much for taking the time to reply. I am feeling a little less ignorant😄
Hi Thomas, would you include much writing in your portfolio? eg on a page with an image of a painting, would you write about the painting?

Did you finally make it to RCA?
Hi. Came from your rejected application video from four years ago. Did you get in when you reapplied? I hope you did.😊

It depends what the art school is requiring. What art school are you applying to?
Do I need to include my contact informations like phone number and email, on my art portfolio for college applications?
I need the template and some help could you provide your email
