This video was extremely helpful! Keep up the great work! I got my Mod Bumper off Offer Up for $250, it was a score!!! This helped me get it all installed!
I saw another video where it wasn't a problem to remove the tow hooks with the bolts. The intercooler doesn't drop out. To be even safer, you could put a jack under it while the bolts are out.
Man! This is exactly what i was looking for! Im about to do this this weekend. Do you see any way to install the stock fog lights into the modular bumper??
Thank you! I ordered a triple fog light setup from Oracle instead! Great build, man! Is yours a sasquatch? Ours is a 2 door non-sas outer banks with the 2.7
This looks like it would be a pretty simple swap if you have a base model. I have no sensors or anything on my bumper. It’s just a cheap plastic bumper
Are the brackets welded i think you said, I just bought the modular bumper, and the tow hook bracket without the tow hooks. Just checking before I replace the plastic bumper
I hope you saved your fog light harness from your plastic bumper. You'll need to add that to the modular bumper. I bought the Morimoto 4 banger kit as well and an adapter that plugs into the factory harness then into the 4 banger so I can utilize the factory fog light switch to control the sae 4 banger fogs.
Do you happen to know the size of bumper retainer clips I would need to keep the plastic parts around the tow hooks in? The guy that I bought the bumper off of didn’t have his when I picked it up
I just used some brace from another roof bar light I had laying around. I haven’t seen anyone else mount them there but I agree they fit & look great there
I’m about to purchase a modular bumper on marketplace that doesn’t come with the bolts, did you reuse your mounting bolts from the plastic bumper to install the metal bumper ?
Will the modular bumper fit with the OEM tow bars. Or do you need them removed. I’ve seen a handful of other videos but yours is the only way that mentions them needing to be removed.
Thanks I’m going to order it did you have it bolted in/down or was it just pushed into the factory rubber strip just trying to see how you had it installed as I like the way it looked with factory bumper. Thanks and great video!
As long as you have all the components it should go together pretty easily. You almost can’t install them incorrectly they only fit into the location they are supposed to go. Let me know if you have any other problems.
You know I’m not 100% sure on the correct answer. It doesn’t make sense for ford to make different sensors for every Bronco model. It’s just not cost effective.
@@JJBanuelos lux package has adaptive cruise control that the others don’t, I’m not sure where those sensors are located which may make the swap difficult to impossible for lux package Broncos but I’m not sure.
You say it’s not possible to run the sensor wire connector and then you skip to saying okay now that’s all connected??? Are your sensors connected or not, looks like not.
@@JJBanuelos can I ask how you got enough length from the parking sensor harness to get it plugged back into the connector? That's where I'm stuck. I have the bumper all taken apart, harness run, sensors plugged into the bumper, but need about 3-4 more inches of length out of the harness to get it to reach the connector behind the grill/front driver side fender area.
Came for the bumper video, stayed for the cleanest transition on RUclips
Appreciate it that bro! 🍻
That looks so good! Well done and thank you for posting this as it gives me some hope to do this if I ever get my Bronco. Cheers!
Any time! Hope you get it soon!

If your bronco comes from the factory with the modular bumper, It does have a steel skid plate!
Awesome great to know. I’ll have to see if I can track one down.

Thanks for the video! I did the swap after watching
Awesome glad this helped!!
Excellent video. Thank you for the tutorial!
Thanks!
Bronco looks good bro.
Appreciate it that! Still far from where I want it to be.
Man! This is exactly what i was looking for! Im about to do this this weekend. Do you see any way to install the stock fog lights into the modular bumper??
I don’t think so. They don’t really have anyway to bolt them in or even incorporate them into the bumper where they’ll look good.
Thank you! I ordered a triple fog light setup from Oracle instead! Great build, man! Is yours a sasquatch? Ours is a 2 door non-sas outer banks with the 2.7
Also, the bumper is already done. I had Ford do it. It was $700 installed.

Most definitely, if your doesn’t have sensors it’s a pretty simple swap over
Are the brackets welded i think you said, I just bought the modular bumper, and the tow hook bracket without the tow hooks. Just checking before I replace the plastic bumper
The tow hooks are welded to the existing bracket which is just bolted to the frame.
Do you happen to have a video of tying into the fog light wiring? I bought a braptor modular and trying to get ready to tie into the factory fogs.

@@Sn-tk8rq Is it possible to add the fog lights from the plastic bumper into the modular using the factory harness?
The right inserts for the parking sensors are $7

The guy that I bought the bumper off of didn’t have his when I picked it up
Not sure but I can try to figure it out & send you a link to then.
@@JJBanuelos Thanks! I appreciate it!
I love those amber fog lights! How did you get them to mount there?

Yup it uses the exact same bolts.

I think they would still fit I just think they would look odd there.
What light bar did you have on there that was ticket up to start with I like how it was tucked in and not obstructing any cameras or sensors
It was a 42” from lasfit, I agree it fit perfect. Check out my channel I have a video on the install. Here’s a link to the bar for you amzn.to/3P3koR5

what is the black square thing in the center of the bronco behind the bumper ?
Did you ever get around to installing a skid plate?
Which dealer did you use on website show us about the bracket? The price is the best price I have seen while most wanted for $84 a piece.
Where did you find the modular bumper? I can’t seem to find it anywhere
Where should the harness exit from behind the support plate that is routes beneath? Just on the far end?
Just spent the extra 975 to get the bumper from the factory on your Bronco…way too much of a pain in the ass to convert it..
JJ. I bought all the parts to assemble a 2023 modular front bumper but it came with no instructions on how to assemble. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to mount the stock fog lights to the mod bumper?
Not the stock ones, there’s really not any good mounting points to them. Your best best is going with something aftermarket
Nice!
👊🏼
Would the old tow hooks fit with the new bumper installed, or will they be in the way?
They can be installed but you’ll have to cut up the modular bumper up to get them to fit.
Nice video im looking to dk this on my bronco. A quick question i did see you swapped tires what are you running know?
Thanks, currently running Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35’s
@JJBanuelos I'm ordering some RR7 wheels in gloss black but I'm undecided on what tires to get.
I was thinking of swapping my base bumper to a capable bumper. It is steel what do you think about that?
Those sensors, are they the same ones on all broncos are are they specific to package like lux, mid, etc?

What I meant was your not able to run the sensor wire if you leave the bracket on the back on. You have to remove it. Mine are hooked up.

@@nicholasbrewer3162 I unclipped the harness from the body where it connects by the fender to give me enough slack.
Crazy how a Wildtrack didn’t come with a steel bumper! SMH
Right, but like everything these days it’s all options 🤦🏻♂️

I said the same thing., My wildtrack has thr capabke bumper and i hate it
Why add all that weight without the ability to add a winch, and its going to rust🙈
I eventually added a winch to this setup.
