is there any way to connect an antenna classic tv rabbit ears by any chance or tape the connection wires to the back just to be in the area of the receiver so to get more channels or reception
I believe if u are talking about a black and white antena (unless rabbit ears are also standard 75 ohms one) with 2 wires at the end Those were 300ohms, so back in the day they sold something called a balun (unbalanced to balance converter) which converter 300ohms to 75ohms This was a small little box with an F plug (or PAL in our case) on one end And an a 2wire input plug on the other end
@@DXingSlovenija i kinda experimented with both color and bnw it depends on the frequency but boy it was so fun to find stations that normally don't show up on a daily basis no worries i was always careful i did get some over exposure but boy the signal bounce off of the olympics and the cascades mountains caused a lot of ghosting and static on the analog tv oh goodness i miss that so much
is there high-tension wires nearby that loud buzzing and white lines can be caused by a high-powered lead wire or wires nearby and do you have some metal coat hangers to make a loop antenna to be near your analog tv device i always loved experimenting with lots of different metal objects through the years oddily enough some toys like Teddy ruxpin got some channels to come through and other electronic plush from the 80's and 90's my sisters tickle me Elmo from Sesame Street along with teddy and Teddy sez brought in some channels without contact.just being near the wiring in the toys.
