- WATCH IN HD! This is Verena Defence: Immortal by Penguin, an epic map which is based around the Republic star destroyer, Immortal which has been knocked out of orbit causing it to crash on Verena's moon. The CIS army then lands to take out the surviving Republic infantry causing an epic battle to begin!
The map features three game modes on the Clone Wars era: Conquest, Hunt and XL. All of these are great fun to play and offer a good variety of gameplay.
The map itself is huge but every inch is used effectively with a large battlefield as well as some winding tunnels leading to several command posts. The size of the map isn't a huge issue as lots of different vehicles are present including an AT-XT, the Muunilinst 10 Republic Gunship and Nina Keji's Jedi Starfighter allowing you to traverse it with ease.
There are tons of new units alongside the map including some more movie accurate Phase I Clone Troopers with the awesome new Clone Recon Commando unit and the CIS also feature a badass new MagnaGuard armed with the classic Bulldog RLR and Electrostaff. The units feature some cool new weapons too such as Orbital Strikes, DC-17M Interchangeable Weapons System and the Hunter's Shotgun. That's not all though, the map also features two new fanon hero units, with Nina Keji for the Republic and Lana Vel for the CIS both of which feature new Force abilities such as Force Wave and Force Implosion.
All in all, this is a fantastic map and I highly recommend you check it out! Enjoy!

Winter Soldier yeah, like a scenario where the Empire eventually realizes they missed a Droid Factory or something and they send in a legion to finish them off. But it'd be cool to see it from the Sep side too, where a few no-name neimodians survive and run away to some secluded base and start rebuilding from there. I myself would luv that especially. :D
jawafreak in the campaign that actually happens. The empire go to mustafar and find geonosians and the last of the droid army and fight them all off

looks funny to see a superbattledroid with a rocket louncer, since there are variations of those with that as a arm. people has done that before. overall, like the map, and finally some phase 1 clones, haven't seen that in a while.

Hey again, trying to install this mod and it isn't showing up in the map selection. I dragged and dropped it into the addon folder. Seems like such a fun map! ughhh
Sounds like you might have made a mistake extracting the map. You'll need to extract the RAR file using WinRAR or similar, then inside the Verena Defense Immortal folder is a folder called VDI, inside that is another folder called VDI and a Data folder. Copy and paste this VDI folder into addon, not the one that it is inside.

Help! I got this error when I downloaded this map. Bad Block: "VDI\data\_LVL_PC\SIDE\plo.lvl"
and
File fails CRC check: "C:\Users\(My Name)\Downloads\vdi\VDI\data\_LVL_PC\SIDE\plo.lvl
I also got similar errors on Bantha55's hoth and Jabiim.
Sith and Jedi can both have a purple lightsaber because for a,Jedi it means the Jedi has been taught in the ways of the Sith as well as a Jedi but it's the other way around for Sith so there you go.

+CAROLINE MCDONALD No, from what I understand, purple is kind of a neutral color, and can be used by both Light and Dark sides, or neither. (By neither I mean for force users who don't align themselves with either side)
Light saber crystals are found on a certain planet, the Jedi control that planet so the sith usually use artificial crystals which are red. But they don't have to use artificial crystals. On the other hand, the colors of the light sabers in the Jedi order sometimes represent the Jedi's role is. Some Jedi would use both the dark and light side of the force and they would often have purple light sabers to represent this. (I'm not sure if this is canon since Disney took over)

Aqman I think it's because Gamefront is blocked in your country. You'll need to use a proxy like TORProject or HotspotShield to download the map.

Cool mod! I have a suggestion: on ModDB, a skin changer just went into beta, and it allows you to manually change the clone legions and models, and there are plans for all of the factions. I thought you'd like to check it out.

I don't know why but I get a huge frame drop when I look at the general direction of where the tunnels are. Even going through the tunnels it kills my frames. Only map this ever happen. Know any fixes?
