The PL8250 document states "2009 and Up locate the Grey/with a Brown(tan) stripe wire and the Light Blue/with Green stripe wire on the drivers side. For the passenger side locate the Grey/with a Brown(tan) stripe wire and the Purple/with Grey stripe wire". Are you showing an alternative connection point in this video? Thanks.
Can you not just connect the blue leads to the tailight power? When you click the door remote or you actuate the button inside the truck the lights flash so there is accessory power? 2014 F150 FX4.
Johnny5sWorld That would make it lock/unlock whenever the light comes on - like when you hit your brakes or turn on your marker lights, depending on which light you hook to. It's not that hard to run the wire and do it right so it is connected to the lock/unlock pulse and that's the only pulse it gets. I'm wiring mine to the passenger door so that it takes 2 unlock button presses to actuate the tailgate.
