Was very sad and disappointed when he left, but as I got older I’m realising why he did what he did. He had to endure being shit on by the public, stalked by the paparazzi who were nothing but rude and treated him and the boys as objects (I hate paparazzi in general I think they’re scum and there should be laws), and being overworked to the point of near death by their management. Zayn was clearly one of those shyer teenagers growing up and although he seemed to have a cheeky side, and obviously bundles of talent, imagine growing up and spending your teenage to early adulthood years constantly under that kind of treatment. It’d drive anyone insane, and all the boys have spoken up against it to some degree at some point since going solo. Zayn may have made some not so ideal choices but you definitely can’t fault the guy entirely.

Well, now that Zayn has been able to sort out his life, and his own thoughts to move on and do greater things, he has also proceeded to thank the rest of the 1D boys in his acceptance speech for his award. The 9 years have given him time enough to think and re-think life and as a Directioner who has gone through similar things like eating disorders and anxieties due to pressure and spotlight, I am glad that one of our boys was able to take the path he wanted, and that he earned happiness along the way. I always keep a little bit of hope in my heart, that one day we might get 1D back, and if possible, Zayn Malik sitting in the same frame with a smile on his face, a genuine one, and enjoying with the 1D boys, but of course, we would not think of compromising someone's happiness for out entertainment. Zayn did what was good for him nd his health. I think he took the best decision ever. Because risking your own life for the so called fame isn't healthy. There are artists out there like Hozier and Stromae who are just as good if not better much much better. And music magazines and mainstream media comparing Harry a white man to black musicians is the worst 😒 The industry builds artists. Harry is a safe bet to puppeteer, follow orders from elite, ceos, executives, management...plus he is a money making machine to all these people who treat him like a cash cow...like they did in 1D days. The industry also blacklists and creates villans...Zayn unfortunately will never be truly liked/ accepted or welcomed by the music/ entertainment industry because he is too unpredictable, not easily puppeteered, will disobey and therefore hurt the money that people who own him can make. He walked away from 1D. From fame and millions of dollars 💸 it's hard to buy and therefore control people like that. Now, with a daughter to be responsible for, they could use that to control him, but hopefully, he can navigate without giving his dignity and sovereignty away.
The 1D doesnt learn anything until they see this. They will face their regret, face their result, and face their faults. Even the fans will face their regrets. Suffering from acute anxiety is no joke! Zayn needed to leave the band to begin healing. It can take a long time to process that. Sounds like he is doing a great job and everyone should acknowledge that.
One direction isn’t my cup of tea and all of their songs sounded the same to me. Zayn was not happy in One Direction once he found out they did straight up pop music only without any other genres mixed in he desperately wanted to escape from the pop group. They never mixed other genres with their albums. Once Zayn became a solo artist I became a fan of his music and his solo music brought something new to the table and its refreshing his sound in the music industry. Most pop artists are slaves to their label and many kids see these labels as magic in their eyes. Until you see underneath the surface that many of these people are abused slaves of their conglomerate overlords. Please spread awareness to someone who might be influenced easily by fame not to fall into the trap like zhan did.

I'm may not a 1D fan, but I can see how hard it is to be in a band with members who have different musical tastes and personalities. It's even worse if they are minors or young adults are trying to find themselves and their identity. It's gets hard to cooperate and work together. I'm glad they disbanded.
Being in 1D would have earned them money and fame, but they'd never be truly happy.

Was very sad and disappointed when he left, but as I got older I’m realising why he did what he did. He had to endure being shit on by the public, stalked by the paparazzi who were nothing but rude and treated him and the boys as objects (I hate paparazzi in general I think they’re scum and there should be laws), and being overworked to the point of near death by their management. Zayn was clearly one of those shyer teenagers growing up and although he seemed to have a cheeky side, and obviously bundles of talent, imagine growing up and spending your teenage to early adulthood years constantly under that kind of treatment. It’d drive anyone insane, and all the boys have spoken up against it to some degree at some point since going solo. Zayn may have made some not so ideal choices but you definitely can’t fault the guy entirely.

Well, now that Zayn has been able to sort out his life, and his own thoughts to move on and do greater things, he has also proceeded to thank the rest of the 1D boys in his acceptance speech for his award. The 9 years have given him time enough to think and re-think life and as a Directioner who has gone through similar things like eating disorders and anxieties due to pressure and spotlight, I am glad that one of our boys was able to take the path he wanted, and that he earned happiness along the way.
I always keep a little bit of hope in my heart, that one day we might get 1D back, and if possible, Zayn Malik sitting in the same frame with a smile on his face, a genuine one, and enjoying with the 1D boys, but of course, we would not think of compromising someone's happiness for out entertainment. Cheers to Zayn, his life, his dreams, his family, his goals, his success, I hope he lives a happy, content life.

Zayn did what was good for him nd his health. I think he took the best decision ever. Because risking your own life for the so called fame isn't healthy. But I've only one complain for all the band members. They shouldn't had any bad terms with Zayn after Zayn left the band. It was zayn's duty to tell his band mates that he's suffering. Nd other band mates also tried to maintain a good friendship with Zayn. I mean it's the fault of all the members that they're not friends anymore. Disbanding never hurt me, what hurt me about them was having bad relationship with with each other. I mean now just imagine what would we all feel if BTS members start to hate each other or they're no more friends?? But again, it's their choice. I just want them to be happy.

If you know the unreliability in the storytelling of talent shows you'd know everyone else's "fav boy band" was going off a script and were probably forced to remain silent about the whole thing. Also why Zayn despite all the bad attention is still hesitant to expose them. Only going off the surface on the dark unseen side of his career. The dissolution of 1D was probably the best thing to happen to all 5 of them. To me Zayn is the only talented of the bunch. Harry's music is just hideous. But to each their own I guess, I'm glad they aren't at each others neck now and have probably agreed at a mutual resolve. Still must hate each other after the industry tried to supress their creative differences. Don't sell your talents to companies kids.

The industry builds artists. Harry is a safe bet to puppeteer, follow orders from elite, ceos, executives, management...plus he is a money making machine to all these people who treat him like a cash cow...like they did in 1D days.
The industry also blacklists and creates villans...Zayn unfortunately will never be truly liked/ accepted or welcomed by the music/ entertainment industry because he is too unpredictable, not easily puppeteered, will disobey and therefore hurt the money that people who own him can make.
He walked away from 1D. From fame and millions of dollars 💸 it's hard to buy and therefore control people like that. Now, with a daughter to be responsible for, they could use that to control him, but hopefully, he can navigate without giving his dignity and sovereignty away.
The 1D doesnt learn anything until they see this. They will face their regret, face their result, and face their faults. Even the fans will face their regrets.
Just know that, moral lesson is, Just be yourself, not anyone else. Do not force yourself to do this, time is precious, dont waste it.

Suffering from acute anxiety is no joke! Zayn needed to leave the band to begin healing. It can take a long time to process that. Sounds like he is doing a great job and everyone should acknowledge that.

One direction isn’t my cup of tea and all of their songs sounded the same to me.
Zayn was not happy in One Direction once he found out they did straight up pop music only without any other genres mixed in he desperately wanted to escape from the pop group.
They never mixed other genres with their albums. Once Zayn became a solo artist I became a fan of his music and his solo music brought something new to the table and its refreshing his sound in the music industry. Very cool and incredible voice too.

Zayn would have never been as successful without one direction as would any of the boys at their young age. Everyone of these guys are great singers.But Zsyn was kept in the back & it was not fair to him. They never made a song that gave each of these singers had a chance to sing alone & then sing in harmony together

Despite being the best vocalist, he never get any chance to create his own music whilst being in the band. Simon know these five boys gonna make millions of dollars for the future of his business. But he decide not paying attention to the identity of each boy. That's so fuck up. One Direction is the best boyband in history not because of their record, but the facts that these boys never intended to form a band . Even then all of them giving their best shots as an musician despite the difference in music taste, style and personality and give support to their shitty management and breaking many world records. I glad Zayn, Harry, Louis ,Liam and Niall finally decided to give it a rest. I heard a lot of people saying "Team Liam" or like "Team Zayn". There ain't no teams, this isn't 1D's fault, this isn't Zayn's fault either. It's the managements fault, limiting them so much and basically controlling them. As much as I miss 1D, I respect their decision of leaving, and I'm glad that they're free and happy now.
