I'm very confused, why did they keep showing NY NY when this is about Excalibur. Also, I have seen no mention of the roller coaster on the site but there is the Fun Dungeon which they didn't mention at all. Also, the soaking tubs are in some rooms not just the suites. I feel like all this information is just outdated or incorrect.
I am from Australia and we stayed there for two nights. The USA is a big trip for Australians as its so far most people plan a big trip. So cheaper hotel rooms along the way like the Excalibur make the trip more affordable. It was also a bit of fun - there's nothing like that here.
The rooms weren't all that great. I had to switch rooms several times. It was so bad the front desk gave me 5 keys to 5 different rooms and told me to just switch. Sad. However, I still enjoyed myself!
I’m gonna have to agree with you cause I thought the rooms would be all medieval themed like Cinderella’s castle suite so I’m kinda disappointed they actually look normal 😭😭
I stayed there for a weekend. there was roaches, and our room had a door that led to the person's room next door :| wasnt locked or anything, luckily upon discovery, the other person was not in there hotel; at the time but I can see there belongings on the bed. the beds were also like a concrete, really firm and woke up with a back ache. if you wanna save money go here but thats really all its got. food and entertainment is much better out in the strip
Word of warning…I stayed at The Excalibur for a week in 2014. After a long flight from the UK…I went for a burger in one of their restaurants. I’ve never been so insulted in all my life! A guy with a microphone continually insulted me whilst I tried to eat my food..whilst the other patrons laughed! 😡
MGM NEEDS TO TEAR THIS PLACE DOWN, rooms renovated??🤔 I stayed there in early 2021 , the pictures of these rooms is not a true representation of the actual rooms , with resorts world, and circa opening up it’s time to tear Ny ny and Excalibur down and build and new and magnificent place
The NYNY is actually a pretty decent value for the money. Clean rooms and a cool atmosphere. Haven't been to the Excalibur though, but it's a Vegas icon and deserves to be renovated rather than torn down.
They've survived 30 years in an industry where you're clientel doesn't really give a rat's ass about your property...I'd say they've done ok, as for spending somewhere in the neighborhood of 2-3 billion dollars to resurrect it all that would be a serious gamble.

Came for an Excalibur tour - saw a lot of NYNY. Also those Widescreen TV rooms sound like a really unique experience... I may have to visit

That's pretty much what I experienced. Some of the rooms are looking mighty old and smell pretty smokey.
