Meh I’m not afraid of spiders. The big ones and poisonous ones, oh yeah they scare me, but the little ones and the non-poisonous ones, I’m used to them.
As we can see from Dr. Bob's end of the presentations, Dr. Bob is capable of countering and containing any SCP making him the best in the SCP foundation. That's why his face is always somehow covered. Many GOI's would kill to capture him.
I mean, he did use a knotty stalker at the end of that file video. And saw the distorted image from the samurai chess bot. And just f*d up this spider that breahlched containment. So he is just godlike insane at his job.
On the bright side, despite the panic, he managed to stay still and calm enough for 18 full hours so they wouldn't bite him. Pretty committed doctor honestly.
No joke, I actually saw something similar to this years ago, I woke up in my room and saw a spider shadow crawling across my night light, it crawled out of the light and was gone, I never saw the spider shadow since and I have moved houses since then.
So one of the issues I have with this story is, They REALLY need someone in the room to read vitals? If it's hooked up to a computer you can literally check them from outside the containment chamber in complete safety.
dr bob is an SCP . he's not affected by any of them or he avoids it perfectly . so he's either the best SCP detective or he's an SCP himself . his physical identity has to be hidden for protection .

If I ever got assigned to this SCP, I would say no. I don't care what the punishment would be, but I will not go near these things. I HATE spiders. Thank you for these videos. This is the second time I have found an SCP that truly frightens me, and it has been a while since something made my skin crawl. Both of the SCPs that give me the chills, I found from this channel. I am so glad that I know about them. But I have to make a note to not watch before I go to sleep unless I know about the SCP. These are so well done, I needed to watch videos about 999 to not feel spooked after seeing 4975's video. I love these.
For me, the most frightening is SCP-198: The cup of Joe. The idea of being attached to a cup of sediment, blood, vomit and sperm that you're obligated to drink if you want to survive is horrible. And it can hide itself into all existing beverage... There is also 4666, the Yule Man, who is horrible. The video of doctor Bob on him traumatized me. Same thing for 002, the living room.
Spooky because this one reminds me of when I used to see giant shadows of spiders on my bedroom ceiling at night in my nightlights area of illumination, after several weeks of everything thinking I’m crazy I got my parents to sit in there for a few hours at night and watch and finally got them to see it crawl around, apparently there were little mites or something similar in the light crawling around and at night when it came on them would crawl over the projector like screen part and cast their shadow on the ceiling. Very spooky but cool, and now that I know about this scp even more spooky…
he could possibly be one of the first foundation members and was attacked and lost his face without dying (don’t ask me how) and that is why he knows all these stories, not because he is reading them but because he is a wise elder in the ways of the foundation.
