7:52, Asami's expression says it all "Fami, you're totally nailing the solo!". An unbelievable mother-daughter moment in my mind. Despite hearing this song a billion times, yesterday's premier was super special for me for 3 reasons: 1) First live show footage since 2021. It's been 2yrs so great to see them live again. 2) First live footage with Fami on bass, and she killed it. How can you not LOVE that smile! 3) The 7:52 moment where Asami / Fami lock eyes and smiles. Greatest Lovebites moment to-date for me. These ladies are so much more than just music. They don't do it just for money, not for political reasons, no egos. They just want to make the best heavy metal music they can, continue to improve themselves, and most importantly (to me), share this entire wonderful journey with us - their fans. 5 wonderful, humbled human beings. And I will never forget Miho who was directly responsible (w/Haruna) for making Lovebites exist. Dane, TY so much for getting on this one so quickly. I have sub'd. Dave 🤘

You forgot: First live footage without Covid-19 restrictions since 2020... First, I thought, that the audience was too loud for Asami's voice. But it's great spirit! In an interview some time ago, they have emphasized, how important their connection to a live audience is, in order to build up a certain chemistry!

AMAZING....THey are better now Asami has so powerfull voice and she sound it's so clean, Mihaco and Midori are FANTASTIC duo guitar player they complete each other. Fami shi is AMAZING bass and fits perfectly in the band She's having sooo much fun Haruna she destroy completely the drums she 's so crazy ....woooowww Lovebites are back and better too. I'm a fan. YOur reaction its what i feel too i never have enough i want more from Lovebites.

In my opinion Japan is going thru a Metal/Rock renaissance right now. The “Big 4” of Lovebites, BabyMetal, Band Maid, and Nemophila are opening eyes around the world. Wish they could all tour together on the same bill (even a one off), just like Metallica, Anthrax, Megadeth, and Slayer did back in the day. That would be something, yeah? Keep up the great work! I'll be totally honest. I had a sheet for reference just in case, but I only had to glance a couple times. Mainly to ensure to tie the nick-names with the correct members. Amazing! I was so psyched for this to release this morning, and it did not disappoint! This is maybe the 5th or 6th time I've seen it today. I have always loved this song. The performance from 2020, with the Awakening, as the opening to their encore, is so good. While I miss the build up from The Awakening, not included here, and I will always miss Miho, I think maybe this version equals that one. Might be even better. They certainly didn't lose anything on hiatus (and I never thought they would - they're just too good, and too professional). Was really fun seeing Fami! What a time she was having. Maybe the happiest person in the world lol. I loved when she was playing along with Midori, but the best part, for me, was when she and Asami exchanged looks during Fami's solo moment and Asami smiled and gave her a gesture. What a great moment that was! The mix for the drums may have been a bit more forward. Haruna was sounding amazing back there. I can't wait for this DVD! Looking forward to some more reactions to them. Whatever you choose, you'll be equally amazed. Great reaction by the way too. Asami yelling "We are back!!" to start the show. How can you not get hyped for that. I understand she cried somewhere during one of these two shows. She loves this as much as we all do. They all do.
It is becoming a bit of a race to even keep up with all that is happening. New bass, new DVD, new songs. I'm trying to learn and keep up all at once but am having a blast doing so. I think you'd enjoy these MVs though.

Wow, you think they missed performing LIVE since they went into hiatus to find Fami? Fami was having a blast and why wouldn't she but the rest of the band was completely on total overdrive. If this is any indication of the rest of the show, and why wouldn't it be, then that release will likely melt and player it is inserted into. Miyako was more animated here as well, then again she is classically trained so the music is what the presentation is about not the performer, and besides she was likely composing and arranging the band's next new song in her head while going nuts. This concert was a chance to show the new LB with Fami is just as awesome as they were with Miho. Miho will forever be remembered for putting this band together and no matter what they evolve into it will always be her creation. Great reaction BTW and get used to this as this band will never disappoint especially LIVE.

I like it when reactors show enthusiasm and you have that in bucket loads, so keep on doing what you do and you'll have many followers. I have another recommendation too. A band called Induction. They're great, they've had quite a chaotic short history, their current line up with their 2nd album called Born From Fire is a completely new band to the band that performed their previous album, I think only the guitarist is from the original line up but I could be wrong, the new album is so much better than the first which was ok but a bit meh, the new singer is fantastic. They're a Czech band who relocated to Germany, with an English singer named Craig Cairns, he used to front an English band called Midnight Prophecy but they disbanded. Anyway check them out, try Queen of the Light, or Go to Hell. 🤘🤘

I'm surprised you didn't notice how fit Midori is - with her muscles. She started doing body fitness competitions this past year and took second place in one of them.
Haruna took 42nd place in the top 500 list of 2022 by DrummerJapan website!! Of all the drummers that i know from the popular bands we see here on youtube she was the second one on the list, Hideki Aoyama (Babymetal) was the only one higher at 29th. This is a list of all music genres, not just metal drummers.
Interesting. I would have believed that on a world scale to be honest. Good for her though, especially out of a list of 500. That is saying something. Also, Aoyama is a pretty incredible, and fast, drummer!
Miyako is called (The Golden Touch) because she composes over 50% of the music for their songs, and they don't have a bad one!!!!Asami writes most of the lyrics. They all contribute on all songs!!!!

After many listening comparisons, it seemed to me that the bass of the predecessor was far superior. I think it will be better if FAMI gets used to the band.
I agree and am absolutely willing to give her a chance. She may feel odd at first until she feels more like a part of the crew instead of a replacement. I'll support her!
In this, she didn't play the way, she likes it best, but coherent to the original. Thus she adapted her play (within a short period of time). Comparisons are pretty futile to me, but I think, Fami learns fast, and she can contribute as much as Miho to the band. If not more...

True. I try to break it up because most times, record labels will typically block the video if it runs longer than a minute. Each one is different so, this was just best practice. I try not to though. Oh well.

Yes, this new version of “The Hammer of Wrath” live was fenomenal and seeing Fami (she is just 20 years old !!) having a blast on stage with her beautiful smile just added the icing on the cake of the whole band’s performance!!
If you like drummers, especially Japanese femal drummers, you should check Junna, search for Junna drum covering the song “Through The Fire And Flames” by DragonForce (a well known British power metal band).

I'll be totally honest. I had a sheet for reference just in case, but I only had to glance a couple times. Mainly to ensure to tie the nick-names with the correct members. But, after that, I know them by heart! Thanks so much for the comment and compliment. Ok, Junna has now been suggested a couple times. It seems she just records herself drum covering songs right? I've been listening to Lovebites for the past 2 years and I must say that with Fami they have added a punchier bass that I really love. They seem to level up even though they're at max level already!

Amazing! I was so psyched for this to release this morning, and it did not disappoint! This is maybe the 5th or 6th time I've seen it today. I have always loved this song. The performance from 2020, with the Awakening, as the opening to their encore, is so good. While I miss the build up from The Awakening, not included here, and I will always miss Miho, I think maybe this version equals that one. Might be even better. They certainly didn't lose anything on hiatus (and I never thought they would - they're just too good, and too professional). Was really fun seeing Fami! What a time she was having. Maybe the happiest person in the world lol. I loved when she was playing along with Midori, but the best part, for me, was when she and Asami exchanged looks during Fami's solo moment and Asami smiled and gave her a gesture. What a great moment that was! The mix for the drums may have been a bit more forward. Haruna was sounding amazing back there. I can't wait for this DVD! Looking forward to some more reactions to them. Whatever you choose, you'll be equally amazed. Great reaction by the way too. Asami yelling "We are back!!" to start the show. How can you not get hyped for that. I understand she cried somewhere during one of these two shows. She loves this as much as we all do. They all do.
It is becoming a bit of a race to even keep up with all that is happening. New bass, new DVD, new songs. I'm trying to learn and keep up all at once but am having a blast doing so. I think you'd enjoy these MVs though.

Wow, you think they missed performing LIVE since they went into hiatus to find Fami? Fami was having a blast and why wouldn't she but the rest of the band was completely on total overdrive. If this is any indication of the rest of the show, and why wouldn't it be, then that release will likely melt and player it is inserted into. Miyako was more animated here as well, then again she is classically trained so the music is what the presentation is about not the performer, and besides she was likely composing and arranging the band's next new song in her head while going nuts. This concert was a chance to show the new LB with Fami is just as awesome as they were with Miho. Miho will forever be remembered for putting this band together and no matter what they evolve into it will always be her creation. Great reaction BTW and get used to this as this band will never disappoint especially LIVE.

You'll know it damned well if you try her personal album released a few weeks ago titled Miyako, Etude Op 23. @DaneBramageROCKS you're more than welcome, I like reaction videos, I follow a few reactors that are entertaining and I've enjoyed your videos since you popped up with the Battle Beast reaction a week or so ago. I like it when reactors show enthusiasm and you have that in bucket loads, so keep on doing what you do and you'll have many followers.
I have another recommendation too. A band called Induction. They're great, they've had quite a chaotic short history, their current line up with their 2nd album called Born From Fire is a completely new band to the band that performed their previous album, I think only the guitarist is from the original line up but I could be wrong, the new album is so much better than the first which was ok but a bit meh, the new singer is fantastic. They're a Czech band who relocated to Germany, with an English singer named Craig Cairns, he used to front an English band called Midnight Prophecy but they disbanded. Anyway check them out, try Queen of the Light, or Go to Hell. 🤘🤘

Of all the drummers that i know from the popular bands we see here on youtube she was the second one on the list, Hideki Aoyama (Babymetal) was the only one higher at 29th.

Miyako is called (The Golden Touch) because she composes over 50% of the music for their songs, and they don't have a bad one!!!!Asami writes most of the lyrics. They all contribute on all songs!!!!

I’m partly responsible for the sound of the crowd, because I was standing ten feet in front of Asami. I flew from the U.K. and I’m going back for two (and possibly three) gigs in September/October. Japan is the friendliest, most polite, most welcoming country I’ve ever had the privilege to visit. I’m not wealthy, I live on a canal boat. After many listening comparisons, it seemed to me that the bass of the predecessor was far superior. I think it will be better if FAMI gets used to the band.
I agree and am absolutely willing to give her a chance. She may feel odd at first until she feels more like a part of the crew instead of a replacement. I'll support her!
In this, she didn't play the way, she likes it best, but coherent to the original. Thus she adapted her play (within a short period of time). Comparisons are pretty futile to me, but I think, Fami learns fast, and she can contribute as much as Miho to the band. If not more...
