    As a personal user, I feel pretty much the same. Gemini generates results (both pictures and answers) too cautiously, I often get sorry I can't provide the answer even if I just ask a common question about the news I saw. I have to tweak my language to get the answer, and sometimes it only gives you a simple sentence within 10 words (another example is I was asking for a top 10, it only gives me 3 no matter how I ask just won't give me another 7) which is exhausting. I don't know how to communicate with Gemini. I really hope they know and focus on what they are good at, I understand that they may not have the energy and budget on this project.

    When I looked at the cost for Gemini, and my knee jerk thought was, “meh… not worth the cost.” I am relieved to know I am not the only one. Thank you for the honest review, hopefully it will become worth it eventually and hopefully you will be able to let us know when that happens. Thank you!

      Absolutely we will, look for the next hyped Clickbait video about Gemini in a couple of months 😂😂 (fingers crossed they make it better in that time)

    I had a triple veracity prompt along with citations to get truthful response. . . It still go it wrong, and interpreted the answers incorrectly from the citations. I just couldn't anymore.

    Agreed. I've been waiting for this drop for about a year now, and I was telling people it was going to be huge. It's completley pointless and actually get's in the way. Gemini is an LLM I would never even think of using anyway. Claude Opus and a handful of Open Source models (and GPT4o occassionally) is a perfect combo. SOOO glad they gave a trial of this not payemnt upfront.

    Great Gemini clarification. It is what I thought. As an entrepreneur-led company (of one) with big goals for growth and impact, thank you for modeling well-written copy under the video that speaks to your wide base! You have a great writing and video editing team. Give them a Big Girl hug from me 😀

    So true. The main reason we even purchased Gemini licenses was it secured a larger discount on our 3-year agreement. We plan on just cancelling the Gemini licenses at the end of this year.

    I could not agree with you more I am in the exact same spot but my tools of choice right now are perplexity and Claude 3. GPT is my favorite for customization though.

      What do you like about perplexity and Claude?

    • @KanoaB123
      @KanoaB123 2 месяца назад

      Claude that it has a huge token ability to put in massive files + the output is sometimes even then gpt4 I like to test them against each other sometimes sometimes I'll have a conversation with gpt4 carried it over to Claude and have Claude clean it up for perplexity. I like to ask one-off questions that are really quick and easy to get responses. Almost like a Google search but better

    The sad part is is we know that Google has the ability to release probably an incredibly intelligent AI that integrates with all of their platforms and softwares that we could probably even have voice interactions with and their voice capabilities are Way beyond. Most of the other providers out there they just haven't released them. They've had the ability to have conversations since 2018 when they released the example of them having an AI call and set an appointment at a restaurant that was a Chinese restaurant that sounded absolutely real. Yet they haven't released any of that technology to the public for us to use easily. They've had it but they're not releasing it. I don't know why but there's no doubt in my mind they have a very sophisticated AI division and they probably even have reached AGI + are just letting all of the arrows get hit with all of the newcomers for all the little lawsuits, all of the fame and everything, but there's no doubt in my mind they have much more advanced versions than they're letting on to. I do believe the government has something to do with it because if I remember correctly sometime back when the government got scared about some of Google 's secret projects and they forced their way in nothing's been the same sense

    Its bad! real bad and the trial! CAREFUL It's essential to stay cautious about deceptive trial offers, like the one you mentioned by Google. Initially advertised as a $2.90 per month plan with 100MB storage, it can quickly escalate to $33 a month without the option to revert back. Unfortunately, some companies fail to transparently communicate these changes during their "free" trials, leaving customers feeling misled. It's crucial for businesses to address customer concerns and not dismiss them or resort to gaslighting tactics, especially when introducing new systems that lack easy opt-out options without discontinuing the account.

    Gemini isn't going anywhere esp considering the importance of AI. And since Gemini 1.5 Pro is really good, they are bound to reach a level of maturity at least on par with OpenAI+MS.
