Good video man, quick to the point, all killer no filler, no wasting my time and data with lame ass jokes and what not and no annoying voice that makes it impossible to watch 🤣 thanks, I’m ready to tackle mine now with confidence!
This video saved my life . I have the 2.0 model and I could not no matter what I tried, get the alternator out after unbolting it. There's no space above or below to remove it. They don't make a hanes book for it and everyone everywhere online including the diagram from Mitsubishi says take it out from the top which would require many unnecessary hours of disassembly. I used this technique last night and my cars running again after sitting for 2 months ..thank u brother
Me sirvió de mucho su publicación. Lo único que hice fue que modifique la forma. No saque el compresor saque los abanicos. Muchas gracias por el video me sirvió de mucha ayuda. Dios lo bendiga.
Fantastic job, clear and concise instructions. I have a 2011 and I was quoted $1300 to replace it. I sure I can DYI it. Thank-you. If you're in HFX CND Beer's on me.
HFX you mean Halifax? I just got a quote for 1200 to replace ours on a 2012 RVR and thinking hell no i need to figure out out to do it myself. How did it go for you?
Thanks for the awesome video! You recommend changing belt as well, do you think it would be necessary to change the belt tensioner on a 2009 or just let it ride?? Rockauto recommends it, but don't want to spend extra if not needed. I plan to keep car for 2 more years.
That was amazing! One handed most of the time while filming. I should be able to do it with 2 hands! My Outlander is very noisy around this area. That's the reason I'm considering changing the alternator as well as belt and tensioner. Not because it's not charging. But I am getting a whine coming through on nearly every AM station. But this vehicle seems abnormally noisy and I'm wondering if it's just the way they sound. Bought it used same as yours v6 xls 2010.
@@nestorautorepair followed your way to replace mine alternator, it is painful to get the old alternator out of the car, and also bit painful to put the new one in. But I did it. Much appreciated for your video.

Worth pointing out that this can also work pretty much for the Citroen C Crosser which is a rebadged Outlander. Maybe also a Peugeot 4007 too.
Ok thanks for sharing

The owner just wan it new , but you don't need to replace it if is still good
