Looks like a nice blade, but it seems to me that it’s a clone of tge eafengrow ef130.

Same as the Esee. It cuts.
What's the tip look like with this one? Will it withstand minimal prying that a person might do more or less by accident when processing a piece of wood or setting up a camp etc. The last two thick stock knives I ordered that look like over built knives have these ridiculously thin tips that I think will snap off if accidentally used wrong. Those two knives are the lengren cruiser and the chief. I haven't noticed this as a potential problem with Oerla knives or Sitivien. I haven't purchased any Odenwolf knives yet. This one looks good.
@@jonnyboat2 I used the tip on this to split wood. It was in the video. One through a knot. The tip on this one did fine. The Lengren Cruiser should have a robust tip. Now I need to go back and look at the video. Not sure about the Chief yet. Didn’t receive it. I have had a tip break off of Oerla though. Can you send me pics if the Chief knife tip?
The tip on the Cruiser should be fine man. I just watched my video... I didnt do a tip test but the video shows it pretty robust. Not thin. I did beat on that tip with the baton. I am not to worried about Lengrens DC53 and Sleipner.
Easy enough for you to test. Make a divot in a hard piece of wood like I do.
LegionTacticoolCutlery I think your right about the cruiser tip, but the chief tip, I wouldn't tempt fate with that one. Let me know what the tip looks like on the chief when you get yours in the mail. Mine just looks like they ground it too thin. My Oerla 033rd has a super pointy and stout tip. I'm very impressed with that one. Oerla had figured out how to produce a strong, sharp and pointy blade.
