I'm happy to see other people appreciate this line as well. For me, it is the most poetic (rap) lyric ever. So nonchalantly cynical.

@pablo27930 You Know Homie. I stop spending energy like that. I remember when people would clown me for liking the underground sound. The energy I wasted trying to convince and make them understand between real Hip Hop and "The whole lots of junks that's running hard on the radio" and still didn't get it. That's the moment I realized that I need to shut the fuck up cause I was like a religions person by being dogmatic about it. I met this girl and she keep sending me Drake crap and when I told her I don't fuck with that she said that I'm out of this world. I replied back that I fucking love my world and I don't care if I'm alone in it. The key word that you used is The Mass. They being told what they suppose to like. I'm grateful I'm get to appreciate real Hip Hop like Can Ox, Company Flow, The Greatest Who Ever Did it The Might MF DOOM and so many more. Fuck the masses Homie. This is the only platform I get to share some comments with some fans of Real Hip Hop like me and I will appreciate it no matter how small the platform is. Sorry if my writing skills is not great, French is my first language

I heard iron galaxy January 2002 when I was "living in Salem, Oregon". A radio station in Eugene, Oregon KLCC has A hip hop show called liquid beats that I listen to on Saturday nights. Company Flow- Info kill ll, Cannibal Ox- iron Galaxy, Zion I- silly putty, and Sage Francis- majority rule were artists and tracks I just couldn't get out of my head, and still have them on my "Artistic Motivation" playlist to this day.

That album has some of the best lyrics I’ve ever heard in my life… even to this point. On the opening fucking song: “I rest my head on 115th, but Miracles only happen on 34th, so I guess life is mean, and death is the median, and purgatory is the mold that we settle in”. Like…. Whaaatttt??!!! And it’s only more jewels and Sonic Rings being loosed from both these emcees collisions with El P’s IMMACULATE production on this space operatic landscape. If you’re even nominally interested in Hip Hop you need to listen to this album like 36 times at least. I’ll admit that when one of my advanced hip hop afficionado homies suggested this when it came out I didn’t get it. But I listened again like 3 or so years later like… oh I was dumb, this is AMAZING. I’ve had this experience a few times. Long live Def Jux!
