What's not to love about Georgie? His mother in law is LUCKY her daughter found someone who loves her, dotes on her, and is willing to move heaven and earth for her and their daughter.
Georgie worked so hard in to his attempts to win over his mother-in-law. Audrey sees him as a 'criminal' because of the gambling room...but not understanding why....may have been against the law. But you do what you can for those you love. Providing for Mandy and their daughter. Living in the house....perhaps slowly changing her view on this....
As she was against her husband originally giving him a job.....but by the end of the episode. She didn't oppose it. Audrey just can't admit it. But I think she sees that he's a good father and husband....and what he did was for them.

I never had the poster, but I did get to meet the whole family once. They exploited the whole fame thing to promote their racist religion (it was back when Mormonism was refusing to allow black people to join their priesthood.) It was at one of their promoting their church events. Back then few were thinking about their racism, but when I think back on it, and how the Osmonds represented the worst of their all-white people's religious beliefs, they really were a horrible family. I hope they were able to get out of the cult eventually, but I wouldn't bet on it.

2nd prediction- that Georgie and Mandy will split because of her ambition for a career that will cause her to want to leave Texas, maybe for New York.

Now that we know that the Georgie & Mandy spinoff is gonna happen when ya think they are gonna break up? Georgie and Mandy are doing well with the folks. He probably might learn more about tires from his father in law. Everything going well, but as soon as George dies everything goes to hell. Georgie has to take of his family more. George not being there to control the arguments between Mary & Mandy's mother. Mandy is gonna have a little tiff with Georgie here and there since he's not paying attention to her and the baby. Eventually they break up not because they don't love each other but cause its now getting hard to understand each other in these circumstances. I blame Mary.
Just by how young sheldon is going and with season 7. I feel that either a couple reasons for the breakup can be one of 3 reasons. 1. Mary and Audrey keep getting in the way and Georgie and Mandy had enough so they move away and while their away (maybe a few seasons into the spinoff), audrey buttles into mandys life again and mandy falls for something and then breaks it off with georgie. 2. Or Its entirely audreys fault, and georgie maybe has enough and leaves for a bit promising he will come back, and audrey comforts mandy(Even though we know she is happy and she planned this whole thing so she doesnt have to deal with the coopers anymore). 3. Or some weird 3rd reason which would explain the divorce and potencial geting back together and divorce again or the divorce and then georgies second marriage with someone else. 4. Or another person comes in and she flirts with georgie, mandy thinking he is cheating and ends things(If they bring someone back it needs to be veronica. If he does have 2 differant exwives then hoping the 2nd is veronica)
Its possible they completely ignore that and keep them together. The Young Sheldon staff was never big on maintaining the Big Bang Theory timelines, and I don't see any reason the new show would really pay attention to Young Sheldon.
Otherwise, George Sr. would be a redneck version of Charlie Harper and they would be living in a trailer house.
Or easier Mandy dies. Georgie two fail marriages came from his marriage after Mandy's death and it's also the reason why he constantly having fails marriage after that.
Or worse something happened to cece which explain why both of them split up and they never mention cece anymore
He could divorce and remarry Mandy.

I think Audrey has some valid points. If my son-in-law were a teenage criminal/high school dropout who lied about his age and impregnated my daughter, I wouldn't like him either. And it's laughable that he thinks he can be promoted to manager without a high school diploma. On the other hand, what's wrong with a teenager being a bag boy? We heard complaints about Dr. Sturgis being too old for the job when he did it and now Georgie is too young for it? What?
Mandy's dad did a great thing, and we know that it really turned around Georgie's life.
Georgie should just take a high school proficiency exam. He doesn’t have to go back to school and it’s relatively easy to pass. Plus he’ll have a diploma and will have more work opportunity.

@@supermallteam3773 Georgie doesn't need to be wealthy (look where that got Connie), he just needs to support his daughter. He could have a good life working his way up as many did in previous generations, and get a GED later when he actually saw the need. Pushing a kid that age is just going to make them rebel worse.
They seem to be dumbing down his vocabulary and trying to make him sound like a country hick with Jed Clampett-like home-spun wisdom. In earlier seasons he was simply an average kid, but never appeared to be as uneducated as he is now being depicted.

Why do I see Mandy’s parents divorcing?
Because you see a lot of similarities between them and Billy's family, such as:
1. A bully/idiot of a mom with too much control over the family
2. A dad who is a business owner, good man, great mentor to Georgie, and could have been a great father, but gives into his wife too much even when she is clearly wrong
3. A bully/idiot of a daughter
4. A son who isn't very smart and doesn't appear to be going places, but is very likable.
With all of these similarities between those 2 families, you feel that another one is coming. Makes sense.

We know from BBT. George Sr is going to die...and Georgie steps up to provide for the family as a patriarch. And Georgie is going to be want to be called George instead of Georgie. (I think it's more a way to honor his father being he was named after him.)

Does anyone else think the season finale should end like this: Sheldon's been narrating through the entire show, what if in the final episode we see an older Sheldon who's finishing a book about his life as he finishes the last paragraph we see his kids come running in as he excitedly greets them along with Amy, they then get ready to leave as the camera pans on a cluster of photos of himself, Amy and his friends but also younger pictures of himself, leaving the last still shot on the photo of his entire family thus ending the saga.
