One of my favorites that actually happened at the finale is when sokka managed to drop the crew of the fire nation zepelín by saying they were going to celebrate someone's birthday and in fact it was actually the birthday of someone
Man, that part had me laughing! Lol Even when the fire nation was in the water that one fire nation person actually kindly wished that guy happy birthday. Lol
I LOVE how the Ember Island Players portraited the characters. First, they took some of the traits of three original members of Team Avatar and took them to an extreme: Sokka's constant hunger, Katara's tendency for overly emotional speeches and Aang's childish behavior (not to mention his more "feminine side" as Toph would put it). Zuko was pretty spot on (after all, they know him better). And Toph... Well, they turned her into a muscled man (an homage to the creator's original plan to have a bulky male teenager being Aang's earthbending teacher), possibly because soldiers were afraid to be mocked for being defeated by a little blind girl. All the play was a feast of comedy and enjoyament! I just love when creators make fun of their own shos...
The great thing about the Cabbage Merchant gag was that it was also a build up to the Ember Island Players episode, as his anecdotes helped to shape the Boy in the Iceberg play that they performed. 😂

One of the funniest moments of ATLA for me was very brief but still funny to me. It's Sokka's reaction to Toph's "Wanted" poster. She asks, I have a wanted poster? How does it look? Sokka...🤔
Aang being a woman in the Ember Island Players is a nod to the fact that most young boy characters in cartoons are voiced by women, a la Bart Simpson. The creators were mocking that standard of the industry.

Think one of the scenes that caught me was a scene in the episode of 'The Kyoshi Island'. Apart from the frothing mouth guy, there's a scene were Aang gets his picture drawn by an artist and more and more girls appear each time, the voice actor for the artist killed me.
Hoooo yessssss I really like the Soka live action actor (like I don't think he is a good actor, but I think he is a cool person in general, and apparently he donated his salary from the movie) and I would like see him in like a comedic zero effort to capture actual character roll
Is it weird that Aang is shocked to see that a lady is playing him on stage when he doesn't live long enough to see other ladies like his granddaughter Jinora look like him when they get their tattoo for mastering air bending?
My funny moments Everyone forgets Toph is blind. Zuko walking into Soka’s tent. Toph roasting Katara. Aang going number two in the spirit realm. Toph defeating The Boulder.
Iroh got an honorable mention? He reflected lighting into the ocean during a storm, clearly burning his body and said nothing...that was effing gold (diverting lightning hadn't even been introduced in the show yet btw)
Whenever you’re ready, the pebble, best wine in the entire series, and if not that, then the best line of that entire season, each season is called a book. As a blind person, myself, even though I couldn’t see it, priceless.
Oh come on. It was just literally for four episodes in the cartoon, and that's not his whole arc. It worked just fine in live-action. Hey, he still had his sarcasm and awkwardness.
You know what the funniest thing ever would be in the Avatar universe? This: Ozai is transferred to a new prison and sits down on a bench. A voice from off camera then says "what are you in here for?" The camera then pans to the side, revealing M Night Shyamalan sitting on the bench next to Ozai, who then says "my crimes are too horrific to speak of."
Moments that made me laugh from ATLA: The cabbage Merchant (surprised that's not number 1 with it being a hilarious running gag, while it's understandable it's the Ember Island Players play), the nomads, Sokka's reaction to the fortune teller, when Team Avatar passed Momo off as the Avatar by moving a heavy rock and the cactus juice trip scene
i love the comedy and light moments. there's that time where aang crossdresses as his past life kioshi. and not to mention one guy foaming when meeting aang
I’m so happy that WatchMojo is doing a top 10 for Avatar: The Last Airbender. It is one of my favourite shows, and possibly the greatest show of all time. I’m re-watching it again. So far I’m on season 1’s “The Winter Solstice Pt. 2.”
They better do the Ember Islands episode in the live action and they better get the original cast to play themselves EXCEPT Michaela plays Aang while they get John Cena to do his best impression of Dwayne Johnson acting as Toph.

A couple moments you forgot, after Katara frees Aang from the ice, Aang acts rather light-headed at first, tells Katara he has a question for her, and then says, full of energy: "Will you go penguin sledding with me?" Also, when Katara, Toph, and Sokka finally got Aang to relax when he was worrying about the day of the black sun approaching, and Aang finally had a good night's sleep, in that dream, when the Fire Lord told Aang he wasn't wearing any pants, Aang said: "No Fire Lord Ozai, YOU'RE not wearing pants." Ozai looked down, saw he wasn't wearing pants, grabbed something to cover his private parts, and yelled: "No! My royal parts are showing!"
Ember Island Players is such hilarious episode 😆 I always lose it whenever I watch it 😂😂 and of course everyone one of these are some pretty funny and iconic moments from the show ❤️❤️ and crack a smile for the “My Cabbages” guy 😄
