Thanks so much. 😀 I actually created the netted areas by chance. I just had some tall star pickets and some metal conduit running between them for trellising my tomatoes. It was really hot last summer, so I added some shade cloth over the top and then wrapped the area in insect netting last winter. Hopefully it helps this summer with the birds and the bugs! 🙏
Thank you for your wonderful videos. It's very helpful, that you are writing the plant names on the screen. Just a reminder, that if you plant different varieties of cucumbers (for example) close to each other and you prefer to keep seeds from them, the purity of seed varieties may be compromised due to the cross pollination.
You can still save the seed, some just may be criss crossed. I'm growing everything mixed together this year in hopes they do cross, so I can build stronger genetics. Landracing is a super interesting topic.
Loved the tour. What is your water source?? We are in eastern Victoria and only have water tanks at this stage and really go through the water with gardening?? Praying for more rain .
Thanks so much. 🌻 We have a well that we pump water out of. Yes, we desperately need some more rain here too. 🙏 I am trialing watering less this summer, but mulching more heavily so I'll see how that goes. 😊🌻
Ahh fab garden. Love the netted areas too. We are dealing with birds munching on our tomatoes, id love a netted space to keep them safe 😂

Thank you so much. 🌻 Yes I won't be able to save the seeds from the cucumbers this year unfortunately. Maybe next year. 😊

@tahliel Yes very true. 😀 I have been looking into that too. Have you watched David the Good? His son does that with his watermelons. 😊🍉
I love your videos 😊 Do you also have a fruit tree area/orchard that you can do a tour of?
Thanks so much. 🥰 Yes I do have some fruit trees. I will try to make a video on them soon. That's a great idea. 😀🌻
