Carmen, girl I'm stoked you actually take the time to look at the beautiful succulants!!❤ A lot of creators don't even really bother with succulants although I do really L❤VE my tropicals. I have quite a few and my Jade, Aloes, and Cacti are some of my favoritesSo glad I found your channel Ms Carmen. We definitely have something in common!! ❤😊🌵
Love the hanging Vanda orchids. They remind me of home (Hawai’i). One of the more common varieties there. That Staghorn is awesome too. What a deal. Thanks for taking us along.
You're my absolute favorite channel to check out for big box stores videos. I like your pace and adore your personnality, as well as that soothing voice of yours. You're like a soft sun. I either start or finish my days with your videos. I never comment though so I thought I would before going back to be a silent watcher. Bless you Carmen!
I thought about a Staghorn Fern but I don’t understand them yet. I’ll need to watch some videos on them. Those orchids!!! Dang! That yellow with spots 😍 Thanks for another shopping trip!
We’re in Ft Myers now visiting my brother and I can’t wait to check out the Lowe’s and Home Depot! Every time we come down from Ohio, they are at the top of my list! Lol! The plants at your entry look great👍🏼😊
Many hostas are at zone 8 for the warm limit, but several websites have the aureomaginata at zone 9 😁. Plant Delights Nursery has an interesting page on their website about hostas for warmer climates. The begonias might survive the mild Central Florida "winter". Here in Chicago, cane begonia roots hold up to the first few frosty nights before their inevitable demise. Your mileage might vary....
Carmen, those are tuberose begonias, they have a tube that here in Wisconsin I have to pull and store overcwinter.Depending on your winter temps, you might be able to grow all year,or you can.pull the bulbs and store over winter.i grow these every summer.put them in the shade with bright light.Nice haul and as always I love spending time with you,no matter what your doing.Thank you for sharing and using your precious time.
I've only spent one winter here in Central Florida so far, but we only got a handful of days with frost. I think they can make it if I keep an eye on them. Thanks so much for your tips!
Hi Carmen, My home in Florida is finally finished and we are moving next week!! About an hour or so from you! I'm very surprised to see hostas at your Lowes, everybody down there keeps telling me you can't grow hostas in Florida. But my climate in Florida has to be very similar to yours, so I'm going to bring a few with me from my garden in NJ and see how they grow!
@@carmenwhitehead I believe the problem we may have with hostas isn't heat, it's the winter. Hostas do require a period of cold to do well. I'm not sure the Florida winter will be cold enough long enough to give them their period of dormancy.

How exciting for you! I think it'll do well as long as I keep it from too much direct sun. I'll keep you posted.

These plants look really nice on your front porch!🪴🪴🪴🪴 The Hosta should get nice and full in that shaded area!
Thank you!

Yes, I saw a couple of other youtubers find some. I'm on the look out myself. Thanks!
