Came back to the game last week. I quit in first season of shadowlands after having a ton of fun tanking in Bfa. Especially 8.3 warrior was amazing to play. Now I feel like warrior is even better. The damage isn't as absurd but it feels extremely tank and I had no issues going for big pulls in the dungeons I played with my friends even though my gear was bad at the start. Aggro is my only issue against super geared characters but it got a lot better with higher gear already. Only pugs are miserable. When they don't wait and screw up the pull I have a ton of trouble. Also healers don't really need to take care of me as the kit is just very good in m+. I have shockwave, aoe fear, single target stum and tauren racial which also makes it easier to deal with multiple mobs. Glad I took the warrior.
Silencing shout and shockwave have been a must for me in DF so far. Managing those together with your regular interrupt is a key factor of success in dungeons like Everbloom or Waycrest Manor.
so I dump my rage on ignore pain and hope I don't get smashed if Shield Wall is not available? A prot pally needs to pool hp for WoG after a big hit. What should a prot war pool rage for
Hi, what interface addons do you use. Blizzard UI it seems, but with another health bar addon. I'm looking to let elvui go, but dont like the blizzard healthbar. Thanks in advance.

How are you doing so much damage? I am struggling quite a bit with that portion of Prot Warrior. Survivablity doesn't seem to be a problem. Unless I am using all my rage to try and keep aggro because that seems to be a problem from time to time too, then things can get dicey.
Just a lot of practice playing the most fun tank spec in the game. Tracking abilities and overlapping cooldowns effectively is really what it comes down to.
What is the mod you use to get the skills you use to pop up one after another your the third streamer I have seen with this over you Details Damage Meter ?
It's a built-in component of Details called Action Tracker. It's in the Options Menu, on the Broadcaster Tools page. The default display is a written list of abilities, which is pretty ugly, but you can change it to icons, which look great!
They are worthless. Blizzard re-added them to the base class in BFA. No one really knows why, no explanation was given, and the people responsible don't work at the company any more. It's a mystery to everyone!

i will say in this season after doing a bunch of the keys if you dont take silence shout, fear, and shockwave your gonna get gapped by dh

You can pool rage to cast Ignore Pain several times in a row, but usually just spending rage as soon as you get it is the right move.

is it worth it to have 1h weapon spec instead of uproar? I feel like the lower CD on uproar would be more beneficial right?
Uproar's good, but it's not worth 5% more total damage, even under ideal circumstances, and the Leech is a good bonus, too.

Do you ever use whirlwind? It just confuses me that as prot I have slam and whirlwind but they seem useless spells

Definitely not looking forward to this seasons tier. I liked season 2 with last stand and shield slam damage & interaction. Good guide though.
