I have the 48” C1. I finally found the Auto Power Off setting under All Settings>Support>OLED Care>Device Self Care>Energy Saving>Auto Power Off. Hope that helps!
What the heck? I don't have this option. I went to Energy Saving options and all it shows is Energy Saving Step (which is grayed out" and screen off, which just turns off the screen. Wtf why are these settings not here?
wierd i don't have that..
They all seem to be a bit different 🙄Mine is not like the one in video.
I just want a auto shut down after 2 hours of inactivity... All my older TV's did this
@@Vincent-nx2mc that’s exactly what my tv was doing before I changed it. I found that 2 hours was sometimes too short for me.
That feature isn't available through Energy Savings on my LG C1. I'm located in the U.S.
I have to go into:
General Settings
System
Time & Timer
Timers
Auto Turn Off After 4 Hours
On / Off
There are no other times to adjust Auto Turn Off .
I do have the ability to set times for my TV to turn on and off as well as how many days of the week though.
Exact same issue for me. What firmware version is everyone using.
The 4 hour auto off seems to only turn it off if the TV was turned on automatically.
I'm also in the U.S. and mines is on the latest FW (03.20.80), your options are same on my 55" C1 yet TheGiantTech channel has the 65" C1 and he has the options posted in this video on the same (03.20.80) FW. Thank you for posting this question, I was hoping to see someone else experiencing this. I wonder if it is a display size thing or a regional thing? I really would like to have the 2 hour auto power off option
@@jaybee6988 I have a feeling that it might be regional. I have the 55" on 3.20.80 as well. But size difference might be a factor as well. I would love to get his opinion on this.🤔
I have the 48 C1 also don't have this option.

thanks, been trying for ages to find this.
This really needs to be like a monitor: turn off when there’s no signal period. Turn on when there is.
I slept with tv on I'm so happy if auto turns off that saves me yes go LG! Life is good!!
I have just got a new LG tv it's slightly different you go to all settings but instead of going to support go to general and energy saving is the bottom one
This didn't work on my LG TV. The menu's were different and I had to find the settings through eco mode. I guess I must have a different model LG TV to yours
Thanks Man now i can sleep with no problem
I go to support /oled/device self/energy saving and u can disable from there ..I got an LG Qoled 65 Inch , this vid make me search little more and i found it so it all good , thanks and good job for info !!!
Trying to find logic in thinking for including Power Saving setting in Support tab
Thanks for this. I've gone through settings numerous times, but when I hovered over energy savings it only mentioned screen brightness. Its only when you click into it you get the screen timeout option. 🤨
For those struggling.
On my LG C1 65”
Hold Work Wheel>General>System>Time&Timers>Timers.
There you can see there is a 4 hours idle off option that can be used. Appears that on TV Apps it won’t work though. What I did was set a Time Off set for every day at a late enough time.
Thanks a lot !
Do LG tvs auto power off after a period if there is no signal (snow on screen)
LG QNED 86, auto power off or put it to sleep
General>System>Time & Timers>Timers>
Any help will be appreciated as I have a wisdom share LG Tv that always switches to Eco mode as soon as I turn it on. There's no available option to access eco mode in the settings please help as this consistently bastardizes my settings making my ps5 look like a ps2 graphic in 240p.
What firmware version is being used?
My lg C2 does not have sleep timer on it. Any help please
Mine has both "General/Timers/2 Hours Auto Power Off" and "General/Eco Mode/Auto Power Off" settings. It was so annoying when I only saw and disabled the first one and TV kept turning off.
Can I do this on the LG C1 because I can’t find that option
My TV is in german but here is a guessed translation
settings => support => panel maintenance => energy saving => auto power off

Just bought an LG c2 it turns off every 4 hours I've turned off auto power off off but it still does it, driving me nuts
i have the same issue too when i'm watching series or RUclips videos
You mean you sit and watch TV for 4 hours straight without pressing a single Button?
Thanks
Good video. Is there any way to alter the white letters on a light grey background on the channel guide? It's very difficult to read (though admittedly I need new glasses). White letters on a black background would be much better, or having the letters bigger and the preview screen turned off.
Have looked through the menus and couldn't find a way, but maybe there is one?
Hi Peter, for a better contrast try this...Settings / More Settings / General / Accessibility / High Contrast 👍❤️
@@CheckAG will give that a try. Thanks.
@@CheckAG That worked! Thanks. Letters still a bit small, but not to worry.
Is this standby mode?
How do I set this up on lg G1 ?
Thank ❤️
that's so cool!!
I hate that my OLED EVO C2 always prompts me to accept or cancel my sleep timer one minute befor the shut off time. It’s soooo extremely bright and disrupts all possible sleep.
This is not the menu on a OLED LG 48A 16LA from 2022. Energy savings, Screen self-diagnosis and Sound self-diagnosis is NOT in the menu.
ya i just order the lg c1 48" cant wait
This doesn’t actually turn ‘off’ the tv, it simply puts it into standby. The red line remains on, meaning the TV isn’t entirely off. No wonder the TVs have a G level energy efficiency rating!
Yes , that was ok when we bought it a few years ago but not any more- you cant turn tge tv off. No good in todays huge price hikes.
Mine doesn't have this option????😢
Pin my comment pls>OLED care>> Device self care>energy saving>>auto power off 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
