My daughter’s birthday is 8/30 and we have 5 cats together so I’m starting this to surprise her with! Just need to get the colored yarn to match our babies both past and present! Im stoked! 💜🧶💜😻
I love your knitting please do a heart cut out sweater crocket pattern i dont find it anywhere it is so lovely and i trust u you are do amazing crochet stuff
This is so adorable! I was wondering if you have a written pattern for your basic square? as I’m a beginner and like to keep track of my stitch count. Thank you 💯👍🏻🧶🌟
This appears to be a variant of the usual Granny Square where generally a Granny Cluster is 2 DC and one does not work into the top of any DC. Certainly makes for a more closed up square with the hole being only the corner. Does make for a more solid backing to which applique the cat.
Thank you for this pattern, it looks easy enough! I am wondering, what do you do for the backside? How do you finish this to make it cover a pillow form?
It took me about a day, but I’ve been crocheting for 30+ years. If you are intent on learning and don’t give up you can get it done. Good luck! And if you need any help let me know. 🥰
No? 13 stitches for the tail and 10 stitches for the body, 1 gets lost because you begin from the second stitch. I made all the kitties this way and it works
@@domig.3864 sometimes the ''starting from the hook'' stitch can be misunderstood because some people count the stitch on your hook too while some dont on different tutorials maybe thats the issue? i skipped the hoop around the hook and used the stitch next to it and it worked out i technically didnt skip any stitches according to some crocheters.
This pillow cover works for a pillow that is 17 inches by 17 inches (17x17). The actual crochet cover itself is an 18 inches by 18 inches to cover the overage you need to sew the pillow together. I hope this makes sense. If you need anything else let me know.
Love the ease of the cat. So cute!

Both loops 😊
I'm going to try to make it. Do you make the granny square first and the cat separate from what size hook and yarns thankyou Susan
It’s all in the video. I’m glad you like it.😊

Just fantastic...I've got 4 lions...Thank you so much...perfect...going to give it a go once my current project finished...meawwww xx
When doing a cat, do 25 chains insted of 24, bc if you do 24 you will have to undone it bc you will have 9 chains left for cat

@@goldenapple3952 then you propoably are losing one stick but with every cat i have to undone it bc of ir

Would this still work on a different type of Granny Square? The one I learnt to do is slightly different
Sure ❤️
Hi! Sorry but I don't understand how big it's the pillow. You said 17 but I dont really understand

my cats turn out bigger and i dont know why 😢
Are you using a bigger hook or yarn?
