What size did you order and how accurate was there sizing chart ??
I've had mine for about 3 years now & it is incredibly light weight, breathable & comfortable as far as vests go & the sizing chart is very accurate.
Safe Life Defense is probably one of the higher quality manufacturers on the market with comfort, reliability & very low profile. Well worth owning & i highly recommend them! 😉
They have a drop down menu to determine your size, it's close close enough. With thoer 30 day size adjustment it's enough. But don't go off your t shirt size.
Grammer Nazi here! You do understand there is a distinct difference between a "Vest" and a "Plate Carrier" right?
Vests are full coverage wrape around apparel who's primary feature is tightly woven Kevlar soft pannels to fit the contour of your overall body frame.
Plate Carriers are generally just a thick cordura harness that suspends steel or ceramic plates over your chest & back.
Also what you have there is not the standard IIIA vest, but is in fact the superior IIIA+ vest with strike, slash & stab resistance which comes in a red panel, while the original IIIA comes in a blue panel.
