I finally got it!! The angle, lighting, and lack of other distractions was so helpful. I've been watching videos all day. Taking breaks and coming back. The sleeves were not making sense at all even though I just took them apart. 😅 I got it!!! I stupidly agreed to hem a suit. I am a total beginner and I've only made a couple pillow cases and a rice heating bag 😆 Thank you!!!
Exactly as I do my sleeves I was just curious, another video showed a woman doing sleeves totally by hand sewing and it was so wrong. Thank you for showing the right way.
Great video, I'm gonna try and follow the tutorial again and see if I can complete it. Your video is better than a lot of the others I've watched, thanks for sharing.🙂👍🙏
Well I’m Going to attempt altering brand new suit for myself … when you marked the mitered edges w chalk on both sides abd then 1/8 Inch difference on one side - you used the underside straight chalk mark to see -so the “ curved “ line was not visible - so how do you see it ? You sees on the straight line?
Hello, perhaps you can advise me on a problem I have had a few times. The top vent is not sitting flat on the bottom vent. There is a fold of material about 1 cm next to the 3rd button up from the cuff. What am I doing wrong and what can I do to fix it? Thank you for any help you can offer
@@sreytouchleng5501 After I had sewn the mitre and the other end of the cuff it looked fine and the top vent looked like it sat straight on the bottom part. After closing up the underarm seam and attaching the lining, the buttons, etc, at the very end I noticed that now it is not right.
Short 12 cm you are not going to have a vent anymore, if the seam big enough for you to make a vent you still just follow this video. Thank you for your comment.
Great job! Please do more suit alterations. You have the knowledge and the talent!❤

Watch from 6:55 minutes pay attention at the crease pressing from the vent and the bottom crossing each other.
