Your home is very cozy. My friend and I were just talking about all our stuff and at 74, we need to start getting rid of stuff. Our kids don't want anything. Love the vintage things and remaking an item into something else. Enjoy...you are helping keep things out of the landfills.
Thank you!!! My home is a continual cycle of vintage treasures! I buy, clean up, refurbish, style and eventually resell at my booth! I love to be able to curate items that I love and eventually pass them on to someone else to treasure !! It would be horrible seeing all these wonderful items go in the trash !!! I try to keep my hoard manageable so I’m constantly plucking things that aren’t making me happy anymore out of my collections and decor and resell!! it’s unfortunate your kids don’t want anything, my daughter fights me for things she loves vintage so her and I share that passion! My daughter says the same thing. I say let me enjoy my things until I’m ready última get rid of them. I’ve been selling some of my porcelain dolls and Elvis stuff. I’ve been trying to get vintage stuff I love.

👋🏻 Just happened across your videos and subscribed. At 70, I just started with primatives. Victorian has always been my love, well, vintage and shabby. What I love about your style is that it gives permission to mix it all together beautifully. Thank you ‼️ My goal with primatives is to have representative pieces of categories of which I feel I am doing pretty good, not huge collections of same items. Your home is beautiful.
So glad you found me!!! I do like Victorian too .. like shabby Victorian style but my love in English country, vintage, prim… yes pretty much multiple styles. No one has ever put it the way you said it and I really love how you described my style!!! I always say I don’t have a style I just do what I love and somehow make it work… although sometimes it doesn’t but who cares!!! It is our home to decorate as we wish!! Happy to have you here!!!💛💛💛

Love, Love 💕 This is how I love to decorate in the Fall more. I love the antique and primitive, with touches of more color. In the Spring and Summer, I tend to get more elegant with brighter colors. I love your touch!!

Your home is just beautiful❤ My mantle clocks don't work either but they're out on display as well😊 The eggs are very pretty! I'm the same, i just love primitive! I have some primitive pieces, my biggest piece and my only piece of primitive furniture, is my step back cupboard. It only has one door on top so i just leave it open and the shelves are loaded with decor. The bottom has the doors and its just for storage. But its my pride & joy😊 I do have lots of antiques & vintage pieces also. Anything old I just love! I've seen the Brimfield flea on TV.. I'd love to go! Love all your art & beautiful frames. I collect old ornate or beautiful frames.. and art. Love needlepoint art. I like the patina on a piece ..i never remove it from my pieces. The basket with bunnies and carrots on the harth is precious😊 I love the bell cloche, been on the hunt for one. Love the chair, it really looks good in the space. Oh yes I'm in the boat⛴ lol!! I love to collect & decorate with old books. Also collect old bibles & hymnals. Love the cabinet door turned tray, that's a gorgeous piece! I finally got my first hen on nest, I just want more😊.. and i can't find a fairy lamp, I'm looking tho! I love the hutch & ALL the pieces❤ The second hutch is equally amazing! Ohhh goodness your entire home is amazing!! I just love how you decorate & style❤ The apothecary is beautiful.. as well as the wall above it. I totally enjoyed the little tour! I got a bit chatty, but i get so excited over all these gorgeous old things😊 Happy Easter🐰🥕

Ohhh yes Step Backs are so expensive, as most all antique & primitive pieces, and even decor is! So.. we own a thrist store and fill only by donations, we don't shop for it. And its beyond packed🥴 And we own a men's recovery home that's non profit. The guys do lots of jobs in the community and between the store & those jobs.. We fund the recovery home. So there's this older, rich lady we have done some work for and her home is jam packed with nothing but antiques & primitive. She gave the cupboard to my husband & he surprised me with it!!! I was ecstatic!! We have several hutches in the store so I'll eventually get one of those, when we move to a larger home. I want a pie safe and other pieces but maybe eventually. until then I'll continue to collect my smaller decor😊 Its so so nice chatting with you!! Its hard to find A kindred spirit lol.. lover of the things we love!😉

Once again just so beautiful!! I love that you decorate with all of those earthy tones which I love myself. I love that you use alot of 'fall" colors even though it's spring. We used to have a better one a few yrs ago and they carried lots of Vintage Furniture. Then they closed down for a few yrs. Now they have opened up a New one and it's All Modern things (not my cup of tea). And the Staff there have No Personality! So I don't shop there. Our Thrift Stores have gotten alot higher with their prices. Your Needlepoint Pictures are STUNNING!!! 💕💕💕💕. I would so enjoy a visit with you, as I Marvel at all your Creation! 😄😄😄😄

I’ve been eyeing a lamp/table combo similar to yours next to your reddish orange chair at a local thrift store trying to decide if I should buy it( it’s been there at least a month and I think it doesn’t sell because it is that combo). It needs a little work (either refinishing or painting)but now you’ve motivated me to go back and see if it’s still there. I’m turning my small middle bedroom into a library and I think it would be perfect.

@@wildflowerhomedecor14 update that I decided not to buy the lamp table. At the price point and the condition it is in I decided it wasn’t worth the work it would involve to bring it to where I’d be happy with it. However if they drop the price I may reconsider, provided it’s still there. I like projects but I’m not sure what happened to the top( paint problem or wood surface bubbling). Oh well…I operate on patience and sooner or later the perfect item will appear.

For some reason it’s always a challenge. My favorite was the little green wood stool and bunny vignette on the hearth... and that gorgeous lamp with the moss green lampshade and ribbon !!!!! I also love copper and have recently gotten 2 of the mini scuttles. They are so charming. Earth colors are my favorite also. That's why fall is my absolute hands down favorite time of the year to decorate. I also love chamber-sticks with carriage candles, as I see you do too. I have the chamber-sticks in cast iron, sterling silver , copper, ceramic. Just love the little thumb handles. Reminds me of Little Women when all the girls say goodnight to Marmee and go upstairs to bed.

I work 4 days a week so I get in the bath tub 4 x a week, unless I have to go somewhere. Then I'll breakdown and shower that day. If I don't have to go anywhere special. I look like who did it and ran! 🤷
I can totally relate!!!!!! I always ask myself why it’s so hard to just go ahead and take the shower!!! lol 😂 😂 in any case, I try to look somewhat presentable but I’m always either working, painting or cleaning so getting all dolled up is hardly necessary!!! 😊thanks for watching and being so relatable!!!!
