I think you should leave the table as is maybe put a coat of sealant on the top, but with all the other colors in the room, the natural table looks wonderful❣️

Love how you decorate! You are so right about the little pie safe needing light behind it.That always bothered me about mine,that you cant see what is in it.I am going to bring mine out of the kitchen and put in dining room now,lol.Gotta move the old wood icebox and hooser cabinet now to make the little pie safe have a window behind it.I have my night cut out for me now! Your dining room is so warm and cozy. I love seeing another maximalist's home! I love thrifting for decor and I have been holding back lately because my house is so full. I often say Oh I should get rid of some stuff but I just can't. I do purge occasionally but all in all I love my stuff too much. Especially the pieces I have made or upcycled. I am going to have spine surgery soon and will have to hire a cleaning lady. I am half worried they will run away screaming! Lol. I plan on telling them Don't worry I don't expect everything dusted! I certainly cannot do it all in one day. Love your videos!

Funny enough this video was the first one where I added everything and more back to my dining room and it’s quickly becoming my most popular video!!! I think I’m going to darken the table top just a little bit … it’s what I had envisioned from the start but was hesitating just because I didn’t want to use smelly stain. So far everything I’ve tried to stain it with hasn’t really worked! I love amber glass… I definitely use it all year. It’s so warm and inviting no matter the season!! I'm a huge fan of miniatures, so I look forward to seeing your daughter's doll house. A recent find of mine is a pair of brass miniature candle holders, they are just so sweet.
I think a pecan stain for the table top with green legs would look perfect in your space.

I totally understand how work & paying the bills always comes before doing the things we love. God has always been so good to me & now I’ve reached retirement age & able to do more of the things I love to do. I’m so thankful for His tender mercies & blessings every day. 😊

Beautiful like always, as for the table my opinion would be top stays the same, but because I love green, I would paint the legs of the table and all the chairs the same color a beautiful shade of green.

my vote is seal it but paint the legs green like the chairs. b/c of you video, i have simular pressed back chairs and i am going to strip 2 of them and paint them off white like yours. do you remember what color that is. thanks God bless

The white paint color is General Finishes Milk Paint in Linen … I love it!!!! The chairs are beautiful… so glad you got them!!! forgot to tell you that i got my pressed back chairs in the 1980's from unfinished furniture store and they were made in yugoslavia before they had a war. i have 6 of them and i never really seen any like them. they have a unique carving. when i finish maybe i can send a picture some way.
