If MIW released an album of clean/soft songs like this it could easily be the best album ever made. I love their harder songs but this transcends a whole other level of depth and emotions that very few artists are able to reach. I like your edit, the original ending seems almost forced for the sake that they are a "hardcore" band and would get insulted for releasing something as soft as this version
