Just read the story about how Kelly gifted the local kid that wave only to have that guy drop in on him. I was so pissed when I saw that, but happy to hear he was escorted back to his boat. We all make mistakes, but that looked pretty blatant, and the poor kid got poleaxed as a result. On a more positive note, sick soundtrack by the way!

Competitive surfing is incapable of delivering that in today's world compared with what is achieved by surfers like Mason that just films themselves and put out hours upon hours of pure surf porn. Genuine question: I am really curious regarding the legalities here, like what happens if that causes damage to the guy who gets dropped in on, like broken board or worse, broken limbs? Surely the guy who dropped in must be "legally" responsible, right? As he was the ONLY reason the other dude had to straighten out and take that wave on the head. If he committed, the chances of hitting the other guy are high and I am sure most courts/legal opinions would say that he would be at fault for crashing into the guy dropping in, or at least be liable for contributory negligence. Sure, escorting him out of the water during a pumping swell seems fair, but I am curious about what would happen, if anything, had it ended worse. Anyone care to enlighten me, please? Thanks in advance.
