Looking for Trail 307

September 30, 2024, in Apache Junction, AZ..
I am at an unsigned dirt road near the junction sign of trails 307 and 308. At the moment, I see no indication of the location of #307. This video details that search.
I scour the immediate landscape for evidence of a trail, but all I can find are animal trails. The last time I was here I took the road up to the ridgeline.
Today I am bushwhacking up the hill in switchback fashion and looking for Trail 307.
After hiking for 45 minutes, I reached the dirt road on the hill. A few minutes later I noticed a discernable trail heading south down the hill. Could it be Trail 307? I could only hope!
I rearranged some rocks and boulders before hiking a short distance
down the trail. Temperatures were rising and time was fleeting. I decided that I should not hike all the way down, then back up again. it will require another hike, probably the fourth or fifth in my quest to make this short loop hike.
I am gaining more information on each hike.
