The Cave at the Fish Creek Bridge
I just took one of the shortest hikes in distance and duration!
I drove 25 miles along the iconic Arizona Highway, AZ88, from the Goldfield Ghost Town at MM 199 to the town of Tortilla Flat at MM 213. My trip did not stop there, however. I continued along AZ88 until the paved road morphed into a dirt road near MM 219. From there i drove past the Tortilla Trailhead, MM 221, to the Fish Creek Overlook at MM 222. Then, the real fun began; a 1.50-to-2.00-mile scenic drive to the Fish Creek Bridge, and "THE CAVE"!
I had not been here since September 2024, when the road was re=opened after major re-construction. I took a hike down in the creek towards the cave, but the foliage was too thick so I...

Throne to Saddle Hike Back
Просмотров 397 часов назад
As promised, tis is the second and final part of my Fragile Arch Trail hike. The camera audio was working, so no musical background. There seemed to be more than one trail, or it could be that my route-finding skills are dwindling. Even though I occasionally bushwhack, I always seem to find my way back. Thank you, Jesus! My hike back was much faster than the hike to the saddle. I only bushwhack...
