An outstanding series of videos, thank you for bringing them for viewing. Considering some historians implications that the Nazi party was all encompassing of every aspect of civilian life, there were few armbands, uniforms or flags in the footage taken.

There is no topic with more inaccuracies than the one at hand. A world has to change before the truth is allowed to cautiosly glance at the light of the outside.

It's depressing that we (the English) murdered our German brothers knowing they were right.
      Heroes RIP

@@waynelittle646 ...well, .....in war, .....each side did "killing" and we can't call it murder. No doubt the Allies linking up with Stalin and Communist Russia, was a temporary and convenient alignment.... that soon showed it's true colors toward the end of the war...and soon thereafter as the start of the Cold War period.

My mother was German and was in and around Berlin during the entire war. I am 72 years old. She saw everything and escaped to the suburbs right before the GD Russians came in. Roosevelt and Stalin, Roosevelt being a stooge for Stalin, stole huge parts of West and East Prussia which had been German for over five hundred years, and gave it to Poland. All so sad for one with my roots. Both of my uncles were in the Wehrmacht and could never go home to their birth places.

Horrible experience! May Roosevelt and Stalin rot in hell

My mother's side of my family were Germans from Pommerania and Bohemia. I like to say my family is from all the parts of Germany that aren't German anymore. One of the most unknown ethnic cleansings in European history. Granted, the Slavic populations had valid reasons to bear malice towards Germans, it still does not make everything just. A era of sorrow for most every people in Europe.

Love these pre-war films of Germany! It’s very hard and sad for me (from a family that has roots in Zwickau, upper region of Lower Saxony) not to imagine what Germany might have been had Hitler not forced the Danzig issue, invaded Poland, and sparked WWII.

You must understand, Adolf Hitler didn't want that War, it's more than clear in his Speeches and Actions, but on the other hand, the International Plutocracy and his henchmen where pushing Europe to the edge of war, because Germany was an Example to be follow on all fields.
Read: Germany must Perish! by Theodore Newman Kaufman.
The War didn't start in Danzig, much less in 1939.
I also remember that Title from Daily Express on March 24, 1933: "Judea declares War on Germany"
Nothing is what it seems, the lie becomes the truth by dint of repeating a preconceived version over and over again, without stopping to consider the reality of the facts.

Danzig was not snatched over. Rather, H*tler had requested that peaceful negotiations be made over Danzig. He even gave out international concessions in return for danzig. However, when the massacre of ethnic germans in Danzig started, H*tler urged the League for a peaceful settlement of the issue. Britain and France, not willing to let go of petty nationalist rivalry, ignored H*tler’s demands as the dead piled up. Contrary to mainstream narrative, H*tler was backed into the wall

So fascinating the facade of civility demonstrated in this film. In 1934 Hitler had attained absolute power the year before. Political opposition had been stamped out and persecution had begun. What did European and American tourists think of all that amidst their experience of the beauty and culture shown here?

from the description these were for american consumption. with limited entertainment options, i can see people going to a free travelogue film. i doubt many were convinced of german superiority by the film. goebbels became reich minister of propaganda in 1933, this doesn't have his shrill heavy handed style. wonder how big a hand he had in this film. an interesting piece of history.
