In this video, I talk about about the best new settings for Fortnite Chapter 5 season 2. As I'm sure you all know, the FPS and overall look of the game has been really weird this season. The map is insanely purple, and due to bad FPS and frame drops everything feels delayed. Don't worry if you're experiencing these issues because everyone else is too. Luckily, I was able to gather the best brightness settings, video graphic quality options, and FPS Boost tricks and tips to help optimize your game in Chapter 5 season 2. how to improve in fortnite and get better on controller are the topics I also reviewed in this video. These will include Nvidia graphic quality setting changes you can make to your brightness, contrast, and digital vibrancy, tips on which color blind modes to choose from the available colorblind options (deteuranope, protanope, and tritanope) and other tips and tricks for more frames on both console and PC. On top of that, I talked about the secret changes Epic made to the graphic quality options in chapter 5 as well as what rendering mode is the best between performance mode (high and low meshes), DirectX 11 (DX11) and DirectX 12 (DX12). I tried to include as many tricks to boost your FPS as I could for both console (PS4 and Xbox One) and PC, mobile and switch, but I obviously could not fit everything into one video (some systems don't have them either like performance mode on PC). Definitely check out some of my other ultimate settings guides and FPS Boost tutorials in order to get more FPS and reduce input lag (make your game run smoother). I believe that the "instant toggle" option removes that delay for the quick weapon swap. I had to swap to it regardless due to double input for one button press on my bumpers. Loved it even when it had delay just because I never pulled out a heal item mid fight cause my input went 3 times hitting it once or twice. With a recent update adding that option (few weeks ago at the time of this post) the delay was gone. I am not good at the game or even trying to be (except to find a sens I actually like per being here for the vid), but I really do think the quick wep is slept on, would like to see one of the top players give it a real shot for a week or so.

Hey I have your same controller and I use 3 paddles (two on the right and one on the left, for some reason i fell unconfortable with two paddles on the left), do you think having low right paddle to jump, top right to edit and top left to switch mode is ok? I think having to move your finger to reload/interact or toggle pickaxe is not a very big problem. Also the reason i do that is because i have always found it better for my general movement to sprint on left joystick. How do you sprint having it unbinded?

You can cancel the diamond delay in the settings you just need to max it out to turn it off.
It says that in the setting page.
You just need to develop the muscle memory which is the hard part

So I actually tested that in the video with 0 delay on the diamond. It still isnt as fast a scrolling through your inventory.

hey, the "show diamond delay" decides how quickly weapon that menu shows up. if you set it to something high a it works just fine and has no delay

Yo brother the stick tension is completely stock on my xbox controller. I highly dont recommend it for Fortnite.
The only cases I've seen it actually be useful is in racing games.

Dude thats super weird, it should just flash black for a few seconds then be good.
I've never experienced this before, but what you could do is completely reset your game files in Fortnite and see if that fixes it. The easiest way to do that is to watch a tutorial on RUclips for it.
