I played expo all the time in cod, and when my controller had severe drift i stopped playing for a while. Then after 3 months i had switched to M&K (And upgraded to Fortnite)because i didn't want to keep buying or fixing my controllers. So if i would play controller i would stick to expo because of all the muscle memory I had. I actually tried playing controller and for some reason editng was so hard on linear and it would feel weird. At the time i didn't look at the setting, but it was on linear. But i am sticking to m&k just because of price. nice vid tho!
Bro i'm not even lying i turned into a exponential player a few months back but when i tried the settings u gave at the end i switched back to linear those settings crazyyyy.

To save time: linear takes the cake but go to horizontal and vertical boost and put it anywhere betweeen 2 and 6%

You can edit just as fast on exponential. The reason most people edit slow on it are because it’s a different curve, so when you input what your normally would to edit, it would move differently. You have to build muscle memory to move the stick differently. You can edit as fast on exponential, it just takes a little more muscle memory. It’s worth it for the aim.
Also, you said you won’t know where the crosshair will be on exponential. THAT IS CAP. You have to build muscle memory for the new curve to know where it is gonna go. Exponential players have trouble knowing where their crosshair will be if they’re editing. It’s all about muscle memory.
Of course you can edit as fast on exponential but over all it's easier to edit on linear to most people
@@D1Kwazy it’s not easier it just depends on your muscle memory, if you played on standard on cod you could probably edit faster on exponential
Yeah I just switched to expo and it is easier for me to edit because of the different curve

Expo is better overall, you just have to find the right expo settings. Try 55/55look, 1.7build, 1.5edit, 15/15ads. Also it really helps to have a 5% deadzone for expo

@@edvardroll4681 yup. Now I'm on 51/51, 1.9build, 1.5edit, 14/14ads, 5%right stick deadzone. Left stick deadzone doesn't matter that much

@@edvardroll4681 they're really good. I used to struggle with editing consistently on expo. So then I would switch back to linear but my aim was never as good as expo. But with these settings, I have everything. Good aim, fast builds, consistent edits

I’m just going to be honest, I used to play expo, I then swapped to linier, but all I’m saying is my crosshair placement on expo is THE BEST it’s ever been, only downside is I’m a fast player, not slow, that’s why I switched
I switched from linear to expo coz i could hit a whole zombie i started to play raiders piece control and my builds got much better than on lineat and my aim is 3x better

I used to be an expo player but I decided to switch to Linear if I really wanted to become better, since I've switched I have probably been good but it will need more time to actually learn it
Same here I just switched yesterday and I’m still getting used to it I also up my speed to 1.8 /1.5 - 2.0/2.0 so my movement is insane
Man expo is always better all my friends switched after they tried my aimbot sens and one even got top 100 in PlayStation zero build cup on my aimbot settings:
Any build and edit = I use 2.2x
X Sens = 47%
Y Sens = 44%
No boosts or ramp time
Ads X = 13%
Ads Y = 13%
No boost or ramp time
No look dampening time
Deadzones must copy right stick Deadzone for aimbot
LS = 9% I use . U can use any Deadzone u like
Rs = 7% must copy no exceptions

I am a zero build player and use exponential. I started playing during chapter 4 and this season I am top 100 in duos. I play on default everything otherwise. It comes down to personal preference and skill issue. Just stick with one and practice in creative. Hard to get better at the game when you’re constantly altering your settings.

What did you end as?😏 If you take a look at the skill distribution chart on TRN, you will see if it much much easier to get to unreal in builds than zero builds. In fact, the average ranked player in builds is elite/champion because of how EASY it is. The average zero build player is gold. Funny how when you can’t build to save yourself, you see how bad peoples aim is 🤣🤣🤣

1. For someone who doesn't build and just plays zero builds, what pros are there for me to use Linear?
2. I play on PC but with xbox controller, I had fortnite advanced setting turned off. Would I benefit from choosing linear or exponential vs leaving advanced settings off and not choosing either?
If you main no builds, exponential is the way to go for sure

@@Vizeloo Hello again :) So i've been using exponential the whole time since we last spoke however I notice my aim assist weirdly feels stronger on Linear when using controller on PC. Do you think it's worth switching to linear? Also do you think pump smg combo is better on linear or expo? Sorry to ask so many questions
The problem is my aim using smgs with linear in a close sotuation i miss so many shots since the slower aim apply only if u aim
If you panic too much then that will happen but if you stay calm then linear is better in close combat because you want to be super fast
Actually forget what I said. I tried Linear after watching the video and it just sucks lol. I would just stick with exponential and I recommend adding 1x boost on your ADS sensitivity and you’ll notice your AR shots hitting a lot more from long range.

Expos better, u just have to find the right sens and get used to it. I’ve been using linear for 2+ years now, and only like 1 week after switching to exponential it feels like i physically can’t mess up edits or piece control moves anymore. Plus, aiming feels like og aim assist for some reason.
What’s your settings on expo?
Horizontal sens 50, vertical sens 60, 1.6 builds 1.8 edit, 0 boost, ads sens 20
But if you want better builds w/ slightly worse aim, then use 52/52 and 1.7 for both (same everything else)

I'm a linear player but with exponential aim. Someone could be gliding anywhere and I hit them almost every shot (I'm champ)

@@ZachFish- to play better u need to lower ur sense. When u edit and build limit the movement of ur croshair. Like when editing move ur crosshair slow/hit the corners of the boxes

Expo
Better is subjective. Linear was first and part of default settings so you learn it off the bat. If the setting was exponential instead I’m sure with the same amount of practice you could be just as good on exponential. It ultimately comes down to practicing with intention. To say one is better than the other is to be ignorant
