Merry Christmas to you! If you prefer sleeping in the car, that's fine. I'd invest in or make a connector that seals up the bottom of the car. You did a Really good job with what you had though. Personally, I prefer a tent with a floor. Then again, when I camp its for several days. Just can't make myself carry all the fun gear out for just one night and by day 2 I'm really relaxed. Fun holiday craft time this episode.

Yo-yo, coffee time! Merry Christmas to you. I love your videos. Personally I think sleeping in the tent without the car attached would be preferred. One could not get a good seal around the car and in winter you’re going to freeze. In the summer with rain and heat, it would not be good either. That is just my opinion. It boils down to personal preference. Again happy holidays to you and yours.

Awesome set up. However, it would have been better to have a tent with a floor and also put a tarp under the tent so you can put a carpet flooring then it’s warmer & more cozy.

Happy Holidays, YoYo! You NEEDED to have a tent that connected to your vehicle since you planned to sleep in the back. Both ways have their uses. For video, I would prefer that you filmed life in a stand-alone tent.

It is more efficient to heat if it is closed and the Defender is not the best for connecting ( although I love this SUV ), your Jeep wasn't great either. In summer with a small connector tent things are different but this size of tent is a great stand alone. The Christmas deco you created looked beautiful!!
