Dont worry, if u buy a firestick u will be presented with the buying decision again very soon. Firesticks break within 13 to 24 months - by design. If they gave you a quality product they lose you as a customer for many years. They feel the best business model is to give their customers junk so they have come back to buy quick.
Roku is rated better in the US. Roku also has a better interface. Fire tv is a lower quality tv/lower line in the US. It’s like comparing an android to an iPhone. iPhone being the Roku. more ppl have the Roku in the US compared to firestck because Roku is better quality

I like the firestick. Because it runs like android. So I can side load, and hack into the stick, and get free live sports, new movies for free, and put on my favorite VPN on. So nobody knows my business
Why the fuck would you even need to use a VPN on your tv? What kind of shit are you watching? Sounds sketchy as hell. You should only need a VPN for your PC and your phone, not your tv.
Firestick TV is a laggy pile of shit. Roku has always been nice and smooth and never given me the issues with delay and lag that the Amazon Firestick TV one does. Roku all the way.

Firestick hands down you can side load almost any android app , But the Roku has less buffering for some reasons
