I can totally equate with low temps!! I live in Kingaroy..... and we regularly get down with low temps. We have already had a handful of minus temperatures and the 'feels like' is sooooo much lower again!!! And yes.... the glues take ages to warm up .... hehehehe!! Loving the journal so far... and I would certainly be happy to personally have that one. Love the idea of the bookmark and stamping on the material tag. I have stamped on calico in the past..... but I think using the stamping platform is definitely the way to go. I think I will look at using mine a lot more in future. This is why I love watching your videos..... you continually remind us that there are all sorts of ways to do things and that we could be using those items that we bought 'oh so long ago but are gathering dust' .... lol Keep up the great work. Sorry for the essay!!! hehehe

Don’t be sorry Chris, I love your essays. I’ve taken to sitting my fabric glue between my legs while I’m working 🤣🤣, keeps it warm and then it runs when I need it

Hello Chris, Just saw that you live in Kingaroy so I am sort of close nearby at Proston. I too love Kylie's video and lessons. She teaches so well and down to earth. Nice that it is in Australia . Am old and a late journaller but love it anyhow. Glad to meet you., via this note. LOL.

@@berlynberlyn ... It is always nice when you find out there is someone in your neck of the woods that does and likes what you do!!! And yes... it is great that we have someone who is an Aussie. Gives us a good sense of achievement when an Aussie is up there with worldwide creators.

I've never seen a "stamping platform" before! Is it a lot easier than using stamping blocks?
I have clear stamps but have been hesitant to start using them

The stamping platform definitely makes it easier as you can restamp as many times as you need to get a perfect image. But don’t ever be hesitant to play, stamping is so much fun and you can do so much with it. Start by stamping on pieces of paper that you can then cut around, if your image is not to your liking turn the paper over and try again (it’s only a piece of paper. Once you’ve got your confidence up then you’ll be happier stamping directly onto your journal. But to start with I’d stamp to cut out
