Enjoy!
wanna see me spawn 3 hoppers outside of the elevator?
wanna see me do it again?
The main theme of this level is the respawn music.
You will use the SparqBeam sidearm at high to overload, and you will like it
Best track from the game, possibly even from both games, especially the remix available to listen online somewhere on yt :)
The chicajo one?
0:16 is the noise of the service bots crashing into each other and blow up in front of you.
I know this game is meant to be more on the 'survival-horror' side, but when I first hit Reactor, and heard this track, it turned the vibe into a 'Doom killing-spree' for me.
In case the Maintenance music hasn't done that already...
this one slaps hard
Those damn hoppers
Use the magnum on them and they melt rapidly. Minipistol with teflon rounds also works well if you don't have enough ammo yet.
Currently doung a max diff playthrough (except for cyberspace cause I never figured it out the first time I played) and every time I go to heal at this level they swarm me from the door and respawn so fast that I usually end up making sevveral trips because by the time I'm at the elevator I'm at half health.
Why the hell my brain thinks that the humanoid mutant on the image is behind a turntable?
Look how the turntables.... turned...
2:19 This is literally me when System Shock - Security-2-Bot Walking Cycle
Hope they make a remix for the new one
They did!
nice
What genre is this??? I’m genuinely lost
Steampunk.
I'm not a music expert but to be honest I haven't heard this kind of music anywhere outside of this game's soundtrack much at all... this music can be quite weird at times but somehow it fits.
It's MIDI music so that's why you can find the mac os version or pc version or soundblaster 2 version of one track and they each sound different. The music is also dynamic in the game, meaning different parts of the music play in different places or different situations, so that's probably what the music parts were designed for. As far as I know, the tracks you find on youtube are most likely these parts later mixed together to sound somewhat like a unit.
The fact that it's MIDI (I think it's like instead of sound, like an mp3 or wav, the file contains notes the computer plays back with its "instruments" (sound card)) may very well be what gives it this nowadays unique sound. Maybe you could look at the soundtracks of Doom 2 mods (wads) cause these are midi too and a lot of people still make mods for it. Sorry that I couldn't help you much, I'm curious where can similar music be found as well.
It's Head Like A Hole with extra industrial noises and reduced in quality until a Sound Blaster Pro II can pump it out.
its industrial
Cyberpunk
Hey man heard you like turrets
