Depends on where you are sailing from. I compared prices with the Disney Adventure in Asia with Disney cruises in the USA and its cheaper since there isn't any port visits and no private islands like Castaway Kay which I find all pretty redundant where I am from where there are so many value beach resorts to choose from.
@@CruisewithWe, the wife and I, are lucky, the wife is a cast member and when Disney doesn’t sell out a cruise they offer cruises for up to 60% off, ( All taxes, fees, gratuities, included) to cast members. You can book up to 3 cabins, so you can invite friends to join you.
Hi Ben and David, I love the Wonder. I sailed on her 8 years ago when I still had “legs” and could run up and down the stairs. We flew to The U.S and went around the Caribbean, another time to Alaska and recently around Australia twice. We just came back before Christmas. After an accident I now book a disabled cabin and my family stay close. The staff are amazing, and the room steward was so helpful. For any family wanting to look at the prices, yes it is rather on the high end, but you must remember- Broadway productions, free movies, fantastic kids clubs, no kids areas, all day soft drinks and all day ice cream. Actually, you could walk on and not spend a cent unless you drink alcohol. Be wary though , all prices are in U.S dollars. For me as an Australian and also U.K - cost me $$$$. The main thing here no one mentions is CASINO. That is where the other Cruise Lines make most of their money. Loved your vlog, as I have loved all of them. Happy New Year to both of you ❤️❤️ 25:06
Our first ever cruise in 2001 on the Wonder for our honeymoon and then for our 1st anniversary….loved that ship and had a wonderful time. We have done the Wish a few times and finally doing Fantasy in a few months, but Wonder holds a special place in our hearts.
Just returned from the Caribbean on the Enchanted Princess Cruise December 6th to 20th. We had only one drizzle day but otherwise great weather. If you Leave the ship BE BACK ON THE SHIP AT THE TIME THEY TELL YOU!!! There were 2 couples that were left behind 😢 at 2 different ports!!! I would suggest you take your passport with you Anytime you leave the ship just incase you're left behind. I'd like to suggest a delicious drink to try ... it's called a Dirty Monkey 😛 it's like a Chocolate Banana Milkshake with booze!!! Sooo good😁😁
Our first cruise in 2022 was the Disney wonder on Alaskan cruise and it was amazing. I’m so glad you put this video out and you were just on the ship very recently. As very soon will be taking the Disney wonder on its repositioning cruise across the trans Pacific. Thank you for your great work. I’ll watch this again and again and again.
You convinced me with your earlier videos. As a 65 year old solo traveller with no kids, I'm giving Disney a try in 10 days time. The adult area swayed me. Better not be any kids in that pool!!!!!
Having been on the Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, and Wish, Wonder (5 times)is my favorite. I am happy to see her upgraded and updated. Thanks for the tour.
The ones out of NZ and Australia are a LOT less than ones out of the USA so you can actually get a good deal 😊 These two are the example of the deal you can get 🙂
Hi Ben and David. I hope you both had a great Christmas. Happy New Year. Can't wait to see your travels in 2025. Great ship tour, you would never know the age of that ship. It is definitely well maintained. Thank you for all you do. ❤❤
Hi and Happy New Year to you too! We had a lovely Christmas, thank you, and we hope yours was just as wonderful. We’re so excited to share all our adventures in 2025 with you!
Happy New Year! 🎉 It really is a stunning ship, isn’t it? Disney knows how to make their ships magical and beautiful. Wishing you an amazing year ahead! 🚢✨
Looks like a great ship. I do like the nautical art-deco theme. Makes it look like a traditional cruise ship (are all the Disney ships this theme?). The adults only areas are a great touch too. Very nice that Disney cater for both groups, children and adults that are big children.
It’s pricey, but it seems like good value if you can afford it. I wouldn’t mind paying a premium for a lovely well-maintained ship. Happy New Year, B&D! Happy travels in 2025 🎉
Happy New Year to you too! Sending lots of love back to beautiful Norway 🇳🇴. Wishing you an amazing year ahead filled with happiness and adventures! 🎉✨
The Magic and Wonder are probably the 2 most beautiful cruise ships sailing on the seas. Pictures and videos don't do them justice. They don't build ships like anymore.
This morning I realized we needed to use our Disney Vacation Club points, did not find anything available on land, but did find a 3-day cruise we could do on points from San Diego to Ensenada (will it even be worth getting off the ship?) in one of the porthole cabins. On the Wonder!! Yep, she gets around! P.S. Just found out the 3-night sailing immediately before ours also stops on Catalina. Why is ours only to Ensenada? Is that the worst Wonder itinerary ever? It still costs a fortune! 😢
Because they priced themselves out of a lot of peoples' budgets and delivered sub par products in the parks, movies and Disney+ for the past year. Plus, consumer debt, inflation and cost of borrowing is high, especially in their main demographics so the confidence & consumption of their products is much lower than 3 years ago.
The photo of the cabin we booked makes me cringe, all the bright primary, juvenile colors. But we won't be in the cabin that often. Hopefully the steward will be an improvement over the one we had on the Magic 20 years ago and at least empty the trash can. 🙏
Hi David, it’s only Lou ~ I hope you both had a great Christmas and a fantastic New Year’s Eve ~ I cannot believe it’s 1 January 2025 ~ I just wanted to jump on and say hello quickly before I settle down and watch your Vlog/video - as you both know my health situation. Things are not great at the moment ~ I can’t wait to see what’s in store for me in your Vlog/videos this year - sending loads of love and hugs to you both ~ Xxx Xxx
Hi Lou, it’s so lovely to hear from you! We hope you had a peaceful Christmas and New Year, even though we know things have been tough for you. It’s hard to believe it’s already 2025, isn’t it? We’re sending you so much love and strength, and we truly hope our videos bring you some joy and a little escape this year. You’re always in our thoughts-lots of love and big hugs to you.
Id love to go on but lm just not satisfied about paying so much ,is worth it. I do love Disney but since Walter past its now all MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY ,its lost its wonder.
We completely understand where you’re coming from. Disney cruises are a big investment, and while they still deliver some magical experiences, the prices can definitely make you think twice.
Disney Cruises are expensive, but it's not cheap to run cruise business like Disney does either. Level of service, qualify of shows, quality of included food, passenger/crew ratio, big investments in their older ships and ships over all level of maintenance in the public spaces and cabins. Qualify of all of these things are bulld in the average price of the Disney cruise. I think Disney Cruises is kind of luxyry cruise line and luckily we customers have other less expensive and more generic options like Carnival, RCCL, NCL - or even more cheaper options like Costa and MSC. Of course, you usually will get what you have paid for and the way Disney make things in the cruise business - it's not cheap.
Depends on where you are sailing from. I compared prices with the Disney Adventure in Asia with Disney cruises in the USA and its cheaper since there isn't any port days and no private islands like Castaway Kay which I find all pretty redundant where I am from where there are so many value for money beach resorts to choose from.
I'm not saying Disney isn't expensive, but it's not as expensive as it looks at first glance. Nearly all other cruise lines' advertised prices on their websites are shown per person, double occupancy. This means you need to double the price shown to get your actual minimum price per stateroom. Disney Cruise Line website prices cover the first two people in the cabin.
I could not help but notice the ‘Extra Cost’ comments.. at the price they charge.. No matter how good the Coffee is it needs to be included.. don’t care if it’s the CAFE or whatever you call it.. The Italian should also be included.. come on.. The premium is so high already because it’s Disney.. then they nickel and dime you while onboard.. I simply can’t get Onboard with that.. Sorry Disney would absolutely love to try your Ship.. but as you already know.. the average person can’t afford to sail on your Ships.. but you’re not looking for the Average cruiser.. your looking to service the Wealthy ONLY.. it’s disgraceful actually.. because it’s the Average Person that made you what you are.. we are your Market but you don’t want us on your ships.. so so Sad.. what have we come too..
I read the special coffees with characters drawn in the foam are the upcharge. They tried to screw us today when we booked by saying insurance was available but charged by use year, and since we were booking with points from two years, the charge would be DOUBLE. I told her that sounded insane, but I could have said evil.
First coffee is included expect for if you want specialty coffee that is extra. Palos is an adult only restaurant and most adult don’t go there when they are on the cruise. A lot of things are included in the price when you book it. If you never done a Disney cruise before you don’t know that they nickel and dime on board.
That's because Ben is such an expert filmmaker and knows how to work the fancy equipment to make everything look and sound so, so good! I'm always impressed with their videos 💙

If Disney wasn't so bloody expensive I'd be straight on this ship!!!
*gay
We hear you! Disney ships are incredible, but the price can definitely make you think twice.

That was something that I felt as well until we went on one with our son. The service, amenities, and activities available makes it worth it.

I have sailed on all of the Disney ships (except for the newest, the Treasure) and the Wonder is still my fave!
Watching right now while I pack for my Disney Wonder cruise leaving from Sydney tomorrow :)
Fine sailing but don’t order margarita - $15 U.S.
The Wonder is our favorite ship! We'll be back on her in a couple weeks. So excited!!
Happy New Year Ben and David - keep the videos coming for our cruise education and entertainment!
Happy New Year to you too! Thank you so much for your kind words and support-it means the world to us. 🎉🚢
Absolutely!!!
Disney is worth every single penny!!! 😍

Wow! I need to go on a Disney cruise! Glad you had a good time Tysm for sharing Happy New Year!💗

✨️🎊🍹 Happy New Year, Ben and David. May all your travels be awesome!!! 🥂🍾✨️
We loved our Alaskan cruise aboard the DCL Wonder and agree it is our favorite of the three we have been on!

Looking forward to my 9 night cruise on this ship at the end of February! Thanks for the info on the updates.
Hey Ben and David. Always appreciate a ship tour. Thanks so much and a very happy and healthy New Year 🥳🎆🍾🥂🤩❤️🙏🏼

My first cruise ship ever! She holds a special place in my heart.
Having been on the Magic, Wonder, Dream, Fantasy, and Wish, Wonder (5 times)is my favorite. I am happy to see her upgraded and updated. Thanks for the tour.
She is a beautiful ship, I’ve been lucky enough to sail on her 4 times now.
The ones out of NZ and Australia are a LOT less than ones out of the USA so you can actually get a good deal 😊 These two are the example of the deal you can get 🙂
But it would cost a large fortune to get over there to take the cruise! Not to mention the extra time it would cost.

My favorite cruisers! Love your channel & wish you both a very Happy New Year!
Thank you! Going on her in March, can't wait

I was on this same ship!!!

i love your vids so much
Great vlog
We have 11 nights booked aboard the Wonder starting April 21st!
Happy new year🎉🎉🎉
Happy new year
Lovely ❤
The Magic and Wonder are probably the 2 most beautiful cruise ships sailing on the seas. Pictures and videos don't do them justice. They don't build ships like anymore.
Happy new year, hope you are fine. I heard there was a terrible terror attack in New orleans 😢
Did the Wonder win you guys over? Or is the Magic still your favorite in the fleet?
❤ you guys

go bills
I am already booked for Disney Adventure. How about you? Ben, David? 😊
When are you coming back to Melbourne?
man i want to take my kiddo on a disney cruise but they are just so expensive I feel like ill not be able to save up while shes still younger.
I love this - it's the drunk cruisers who think they are god. Not just Disney - All cruises. I am sure this cruise has a policy in place ( I hope).
Disney is just too expensive for us average low income people in Australia. So sad that they are so expensive...😢😢😢
Disney…Disney
Sorry, but for me this ship looks like Royal Caribbean‘s ships in the late 90s!
If Disney is doing everything right why are my stocks tanking? What used to be 250,000 is now 25,000 a little drop
I want to like the Disney decor but I just don’t.
love these guys, that’s why i watch their videos, but this thing is completely vulgar, over the top and tacky.
The photo of the cabin we booked makes me cringe, all the bright primary, juvenile colors. But we won't be in the cabin that often. Hopefully the steward will be an improvement over the one we had on the Magic 20 years ago and at least empty the trash can. 🙏

If disney of all places can manage adults only, why cant p and o iona? Kids were allowed bloody everywhere. Even in the disco at 12 in the night
nightmare!... kids!!!
oh...
and adults thinking they are kids!
omg i hate disney, even as a kid!
