Sick the Swiss SG553, SG556, SG751(.308) are aesthetically some of the best AK variants to ever exist! That said the tolerances are really tight in these guns and the overall tuning really helps reducing the overgassing issues.
Dude are you a crypto millionaire? That rifle is literally 15,000$ even if you bought it 10 years ago it was still a few thousand. Plus all the firearms you've shown the collection on the wall alone is well over 50,000$.

Then never sold those parts. The only way to "get those parts" was to buy another one with those parts already on it which was a slap in the face and totally defeated the purpose. Every third round was a double feed and every 4th was a failed ejection.

I mean they noticed soon that a sniper in 5.6 isnt that good of a sniper . If anyone doesnt know what i mean by 5.6 i mean 5,6 mm the cartrigde the sig 550 platform. Its only made in Switzerland and is called GP90 for Gewehrpatrone 90. Export weapons for the us are mostly chambered in 5.56.

I just bought a Leupold Deltapoint Pro red dot sight but I still have to get my pistol machined for it. I'm thinking about just putting it on my 9mm AR instead
sig550 series is fucking under appreciated great guns id still take an ak any day or gaili if i could get one but all in all id take a sig over a standard ar15 style rifle for 556 any day not saying ars are bad dont go tripping people just my preference

I had a sig 556xi. Sold that thing. They never sold the interchangeable parts as advertised and jammed frequently. Was not worth it.
That's sad I always thought sigs were a quality firearm...especially for the price....MSRP is usually rather expensive

They're good rifles but not worth $5k unless you're a diehard collector. If you want one to shoot then I'd look elsewhere.
They are totally worth ist. I own a sig 553 and its definitely my most reliable weapon and most fun to use.
