Your videos are great and very helpful. I updated my R36S after watching this and everything is working fine. Now i get to use my Anker DAC on the R36S, i bet other DACs or USB C headphones will work too.
The first time you use the wifi you have to run the wifi options app that lets you add a network and enter the password etc. Once thats done it just works when you plug it in.

All of this emulators are already on device , is over 50 emulators folders there on games card , just drag the roms to right folders and the emulator will appear, amiga need to put kickstart to bios folder by yourself

What are the best MicroSD cards to upgrade to for better performance? Sandisk has 64gb Ultra and Extreme, not sure which one is better. Also, should I get a larger one for the ROMs?
A little strange that it is using a November 2023 version after updating. The ArkOS website has a newer version prepared by AeolusUX that is probably better suited to the device but who knows. I'm assuming the Nov2023 version is the last one officially maintained for the device.
Updated mine and now WiFi doesn’t work after the update. The WiFi menu has changed and doesn’t pick up any WiFi networks. I’ve tried multiple dongles and a usb to Ethernet. Seems it’s broke and I don’t know how to fix it 😢

I don’t have a Wifi section under Options, only Update section. When I select that, it says “Looks like OTA updating is currently down or your wifi or internet connection is not functioning correctly.” ETA: I was using a different theme and it didn’t have the Wifi option. I changed it to the one you are using and now it does. Important info…. Anyways, I located my SSID and entered my passphrase and I don’t know if it is connected or not because I don’t know how you get out of that menu other than pressing the Reboot button and when I do that, I look to see if Wifi is UP and it is Down. 😭 I can’t get it to connect or stay connected. i am using a tp-link ac600 wifi adapter on 2.4gHz.
Thanks for posting this. Like many others on Reddit a few weeks ago, I had attempted to update the system via WiFi which made all games unplayable and turned the screen sideways. I corrected this by updating the SD card on my PC through software following your guide. Glad to know it’s available now through WiFi. Question: Are you planning to see if the R36s is playable on a TV via an OTG to HDMI adapter? Multiple sellers on Aliexpress include a description picture suggesting this is possible, but I have yet to see one person online describe successfully playing the R36s on a full size television.
It works well for me with an adapter RJ45 to USB-C. First time it crash but second time ok. It can last more than 7 minutes (it takes me around 15 minutes) so let the process begin and finish correctly (beware to have enough battery!) I update mine to ArkOS (02232024) Have fun !

You've got over 50 emulators Enabled ,you need to just drag the roms to the right folder, then console automatically will recognise and show those emulators on menu ,I've got 3tb of games from my consoles and also had 2tb disk form ali 😉

so i have a question for you. i updated my r36s just fine but i don't have an wifi dongle nor a otg cable. i'm trying to scrape games so i can see the cover's for each game, i added a bunch of games. i was using a software called skraper and it did download the images and it even made a gamelist.xml file but when i boot my arkos the covers just don't show up when i'm chosing my games....can you take a look at it and maybe do a tutorial on how to scrape game with out having a wifi dongle? like how to do it on pc.
Two different consoles , if you need joysticks buy r36 if you don't mind and wanna play just up to ps1 miyoo have better quality but not for me as is way to small and uncomfortable

Reason is simple , every update giving you better performance of your system , people working to improve emulators ,fixed bugs, make this system better and pushed everything to improve overall experience. Hello ! I just reloaded the Arkos and after that i dont have the "playstation" icon and i dont have "every game" icon. But when i check the sd card with games on it, it shows that i have the playstation folder with games on it. Could you please make a video how to fix and add other emulator if you know how to ? They messed up the newest version 😪 we are waiting for fixed those problems , if you want stable is on github the latest to flash from 29th of September and working without problems

Does anyone know how to reset the emulator for psp? Usually you press the right stick when using stand alone but I messed up the settings and now when I press the right analog the settings don’t come up. Plus I don’t wanna use retroarch ain’t great like standalone.

those games don't need the fastest card , any good quality cars will be fine ,like sandisk , samsunf

You've got my dongle on description and thus one working, I cannot say anything about any others but I know some people had problems with some brands

Where did you uploaded It, should be a folder =downloaded images= in every single game folder

I bought a cheap wifi dongle from aliexpress. Do I need to install drivers in the R36s in order to work properly? Or it recognise the wifi as soon as you insert it?

Retroarch it is select and x that's how I've got as you see on my videos.Did you try during you playing games ??? Because first you need to start emulator working

so, I tried to update it and after a while seeing text prompts downloading and updating... It seems to be stuck? LED switches between red and blue and all I see is the "_" cursor blinking in the screen

Reason is simple , every update giving you better performance of your system , people working to improve emulators ,fixed bugs, make this system better and pushed everything to improve overall experience. Example arkos April 2022 vs new psp game Initial D twice better framerate from 15fps to 30fps 👌

I cannot confirmed about earbuds as I haven't got to check, my keyboard and controller working by bluetooth but I'm not sure about that

Updated mine and now its wont work. Comes up with the logo then its just a black screen. Best to not do this as its not worth the headache

This device haven't got wifi, that's why you need dongle or plugged in your phone by otg and get Internet

Hello ! I just reloaded the Arkos and after that i dont have the "playstation" icon and i dont have "every game" icon. But when i check the sd card with games on it, it shows that i have the playstation folder with games on it. Could you please make a video how to fix and add other emulator if you know how to ? They messed up the newest version 😪 we are waiting for fixed those problems , if you want stable is on github the latest to flash from 29th of September and working without problems

Ps2 is a smooth on steam deck , you need powerfull device
PS2 is not easy to play. This device is not even close to the performance required.

there is a newer update from 22th december 2023, when u install that one you will lose the retroarch from the menu where u choose the systems, its just gone.... lol.

My wifi dongle dosent work, is brand new.
Does anyone know how to reset the emulator for psp? Usually you press the right stick when using stand alone but I messed up the settings and now when I press the right analog the settings don’t come up. Plus I don’t wanna use retroarch ain’t great like standalone.
