Thank you, Babita! That’s so sweet of you to say so! There’s another firewalking happening this weekend in Ba so I’m hoping to record then upload that by Monday.
Really love the historical aspects of this channel and I even watch with my children who are Fijians growing up in the UK and learning. Thank you Mr Sahu Khan
That's awesome! 😃👍🏽✌🏽👌🏽. I've only scratched the surface. I'll be doing more historical stuff as well as covering cultural performances as I gather more momentum and subscribers.
Great video. "Cirinakaumoli" means a floating branch (from an orange/ citrus tree). "Ciri" means float; "na kau" means branch; "moli" means orange or citrus. "Nakausabaria" means bite a branch/ wood - "nakau" means branch/wood; "sa baria" means to bite.
Vinaka and thanks for the info, Ratu Vosalagi. I like to know all the particulars of the stories I cover on this channel. There is so much ancient Fijian history just waiting to be re-discovered.
Thanks for your adventure....eventhough I never set foot on it just heard of the history... through your nice clips I managed to see it...thanks very much.
Thanks for the tour! Wish I could have been more adventurous back in the day rather than sitting around the grog bowl...!! Rupeni's comment about the "dudu" shot cracked me up....esp since y'all were in Yaqara (cow country)..!
Wow! Was Rupeni’s comment audible? 😂😂 I had no idea! It’s a running joke amongst the three of us. I’ve seen pointed hills around Ba and Ra that I’m convinced have been fashioned by ancient Fijians. Mike thinks I’m seeing “dudus”! 😂😂
1st century cushites from Ethiopia settle in Tanganyika 10 century AD about this time the fable of fijian from Tanganyika ( chronological History man in Tanganyika)
It fable that about this the powerful chief Lutunasobasoba and his people followed the trade cross the Indian Ocean trevilling south east Asia settled Fiji
Thank you for this. Didn't realise how large an area Yaqara was.
The history is fascinating.
Thank you. Yes, yaqara is incredibly big.
Every bit of the video is just too good. Love watching any historical stories of Fiji, not forgetting we are proud Fijian's .Thank you Azeem.

Wow, I was so emotional looking at my ancestors origins.
The sau-ni-koro of Drauniivi has more info on those two rocks. I'll be doing another vlog with him on the subject soon.
