Btw I just noticed this that you may try to build 'Crit Hit + Crit dmg' instead of Final Dmg on Light War Mage, cause you know right sorceress's damage output is the lowest amogst all classes, so if u have 200% Crit Dmg it means when your basic dmg is 10.000, it will be timed by 200% so it will be 20.000 on crit, and if u got Final Dmg it will be summed into it, I guess? Since I play sorceress myself and yeah indeed I feel it that they lack of Dmg outputs
I get what you're trying to accomplish, but Crit DMG does not work that way. Crit damage is 150% by default even if you have 0 stats on it. It's because the 100% basic attack + 50% bonus given is already accounted for, like Genshin Impact. Then every 25 crit damage points will give 1% crit damage added. So in reality, the 200% crit damage is just 100% from your base plus the 100% bonus. In essence, the crit hit you're applying to the 200% crit damage isn't any different from final dmg. Well, if you're now gaining like 250% crit damage, your crit hit will have more value, but only at 50% advantage vs. final dmg, which is hard to achieve since Light War Mage scales off Int, which by nature will also scale off Final dmg. Get it?

Solo content (Forbidden Ground, Tower of Prom) = Fire Guild Wars/Points Contest = Light Guild Expedition = Light for teamwork SDN = Fire if you the carry, Light if you have stronger guildmates/partymates Lairs (TKN/Manti fast clear) = Fire Tactical Stronghold = both fine Sacred Arena = idk i have success with Light but i damage less Seal Breaker = Fire until Floor 39, Floor 40 is a mess for War Mages Overall: Light will make partymates thank you, Fire will make partymates wow at you.
Will try your combo! My combo with Light War Mage is this. Wisdom - Dispel - Shatter - Spectrum - Black hole - Nine tail - Astral - Nine tail - CD buff. After CD buff, usually Dispel is ready since 2secs reduction from nine tail (since u casted it twice), 2seconds reduction from black hole, 15% reduction cd passive + 100% speed reduction. I’ve been learning combos of both light and fire, losing hope when they gave me my third 1tile light and no 1tile fire. Hahahaha
Ah, a Black Hole fan! I will also try your rotation out. Haven't explored Black Hole, I initially thought I get idle time in between combos so I opted with Linear Ray use, but your rotation made a lot of sense. But I'm not a fan of Dispel before Shatter in dangerous situations. I started out with Dispel first too, until Guild Points Contest (guild wars) happened. I felt more safe going in with Shatter first. Thanks for sharing your thoughts btw.
Update: I tested your rotation. Almost felt like I want to make another vid using yours. It's good, it's burst-y. Just kind of weird after the 2nd rotation, but yeah I'm happy with the results, I like it. And the Black Hole synergizes cooldown better with the uber-slow Spectrum Shower. Maybe I'll test in in SDN S6.

Glad that I found your channel haha. I used that combo during our SDN run, made me lose my damage (And I say a lot of damage lost hahahuhu) as a fire warmage due to lack of gears (wore Epic Light element) and ofcourse still on AGI acce same as you on your video haha. But I’m quite satisfied with the rotation. I am forever fire warmage, however will also consider collecting gears and acce for light warmage incase of demand of our CD buff. I am the only warmage in our guild so I cannot pass the CD buff to anyone haha.

Light War Mages shine on one-saint parties where your slightly lower DPS will be compensated by unli heals and added DPS for the team due to its CDR. Also, if I were to be honest, we have reversed fortunes. I keep on trying Light War Mage but Velskud wants me to go Fire (4 1-blocks) compared to my single 1-block from Light. I think I have no choice but to come back to my roots as Fire. To wrap things up, except for cases where party really needs the cooldown reduction, I think Fire War Mages are more fun to play!
Use team buff with this combo = dispel - ninetails - astral - ninetails - mirror - linear ray - rain of light - timewarp - linear ray - ninetails - astral - ninetails - dispel again... This is my combo.
Solo content? Fire without a doubt. Light makes your team better via CDR and occassional frontlining on tight spaces, but for solo, Fire is faster (I can't say better), just faster in both casting and clear times.
In terms of skill spamming, sustained DPS and team-oriented fight, light war mage is the best. But if you're more on damage dealing player, go for fire war mage.
Test the damage with and without feather i'm a war mage user before and i experienced some damage bugs. My stats keeps improving day by day but my damage is still the same back when i was 75-80k bp.
Typhoon Krag? It's STR. It's serviceable, but not the best for Light WM in general. I suggest you buy the Angel Elf still, its passive is very nice; an FD pet giving you Crit Hit as passive. One of the best A-Tier pets imho.

Then pull up to 1000 tickets, theres a chance another A-tier pet summon may arrive between your 500 to 1000 tickets farming. Whatever comes first will decide your fate. If it falls on a Typhoon Krag, an Angel Elf or a Flower Elf, consider yourself lucky.
Its unfair, DISPEL says in description that immunity to control but its not. I hate WM because of the ulti, unlike other class they are literally immune to cc
I'm with you on this one. Dispel does not give you total immunity, which is unfortunate. However, Laser Shatter + Dispel gives a lot of resistance, you are godly for ~5 secs or so as Light War Mage.
@@roldyplaysph yah, thats what Im doing right now. But it is still unfair compared to other class, in pvp that dispel is sometimes not hitting the enemies too even you cast it and the animation of lasers sweeping the exact location.
I'm just using dispel for countering other ults in pvp as it gives 75% damage reduction plus you can stagger dispel and shatter for longer cc resistance

On a party where you have party-mates with higher BP, Light will help them. But if you are the highest BP and they ask you to carry them, go Fire. There's that. TL;DR: Light = better teammate, Fire = better carry.

Game is really buggy anyways, especially that rune bug, it's notorious all throughout DN2 (even Korean ones).
