I feel you man, I too went through a divorce after 22 yrs of marriage, was a complete surprise. Stay strong and remember to take this as an opportunity to move on to bigger and better things waiting for you. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT RIP THE ‘56!!! Skip it and stick with some other unopened packs. You have something so unique, you will make more money in the future but yay never have an opportunity to have another of these! I wish the best for you and it will get better, sometimes things are meant to be, we just don’t know the plan yet. Good luck and God bless. You have a new subscriber!
I want to thank you for this rip. Thanks for being authentic with what you are going through. That's gotta be tough. I appreciate you brotha. Also thank you for sharing my favorite set of all time.
At 12:27, RIP longtime Mets and Dodgers catcher Jerry Grote, who just passed away a few days ago. I think the Pirates and Dodgers players on that '74 NLCS card are Jackie Hernandez and Davey Lopes. Best wishes for the future man.
Hope everything works out for you Mr. I love baseball cards. I love the the Topps 1975 cards. That was the year I started collecting when I was 6 years old. This years Topps Heritage is going to be the 1975 design. I can't wait for them to come out. Have a good one and a great week to you Mr. I love baseball cards and Peace to you. I like the Braves player card.
thank you so much for the nice words ! that's neat that was your first year of collecting ! i am so hoping that they do amazing with this year's Heritage. hopefully there are minis, and maybe even some buy backs.
Appreciate the video and love seeing pack fresh '75s! Kinda blows the cuts you got, but anyone chasing '75s know that's all too common. I sent you an email. Hope you get it and hope to hear back from you. Been watching a long time and always enjoy the videos. :)
1975 Topps is my favorite set. Frank Robinson favorite card in the set. 2nd grade teacher took my cards away for bringing them in to class. Luckily got them back at the end of the year.
yup - i was dumb lucky. in 2007/2008 - even 1978 rack packs were cheaper than what an 84 fleer rack pack costs now ! pretty much anything bought before 2015 was a steal compared to now, even vintage commons.
I feel your pain sir. Sold off 90% of my collection during my divorce. Including a few T-206 cards. Not fun. Hope you land on your feet. Keep on collecting. Thanks for sharing.
DON’T DO IT. Even though they were 3rd party issued, you have a very unique one with the Mantle front center. This sets it apart from other 56 Mantles and will be more valuable. Stay with the 70’s. You had bad luck with this 75 but you will hit. Still fun to rip. The Santa Rack you will regret.
First off, sorry for all of the troubles you’re experiencing and I hope that things turn around for the better soon. My favorite card from this pack is actually the Don Gullett. 1975 Topps is known for comical miscuts so this brings back good memories plus Mr Gullett passed away recently so out of respect to his memory this one’s my favorite.
What a shame about the divorce 😕 I got divorced after 30 years, it won't be the happy ending you hoped for but you will make it,just not as money to spend on baseball cards as it could've been, looks like you will have some great cards to keep or trade to lift your spirits. Best of wishe.
Ooof a dud. I guess I’ll go with the NLCS card as my favorite. Looking forward to day 20 and the PSA reveal. Hopefully some positive things start happening for you.
Phil, I’m sorry to hear about the divorce brother; I apologize for not stopping in for so long, but as you know life gets crazy. I always love your videos, will start keeping up with them more regularly!!
Sorry to hear what you are going through!! One day at a time!! Thanks for sharing your 1975 pack!! Enjoy your channel!! Keep up the great content!!
really nice of you to say - appreciate the words more than i can express

Thanks for sharing. Im jealous you were smart enough to buy these packs years ago when they were much more affordable.

You should send that Christmas rack pack into an auction house. It is an amazing item.
Not sure how much those are valued as they are an after market re-wrapped item.
thank you. i tried. but they all steered clear of it because of some of the uncertainty.
Hang in there Snowman. You will make it through all this.
thank you very much

thank you so much for your nice words. i am sorry to hear that you dealt with that too, after even more years !
Ooof a dud. I guess I’ll go with the NLCS card as my favorite. Looking forward to day 20 and the PSA reveal. Hopefully some positive things start happening for you.

This set is one of my favorites truly enjoyed the video
thank you !!
Hope everything works out as best as possible? And that you get a nice new place?
Really cool to see a pack like this! As far as unopened, from 1975!
thank you !
Don Gullett for sure. Best pitcher on the Big Red Machine. He just passed away. Keep your head up and stay strong
thank you, and info i didn't know about Gullett.
Sorry to hear about the divorce. If anything you still have us subscribers behind you. I'm voting for the Steve Yeager
very nice of you, thank you !
Phil, I’m sorry to hear about the divorce brother; I apologize for not stopping in for so long, but as you know life gets crazy. I always love your videos, will start keeping up with them more regularly!!
thank you for the very kind words and support
Andy Thornton with the win
😁
I’m voting for Steve Yeager
😁
Vic Corrall was never a manager. Nice rip though
thank you. thought he was on a mid 80s topps card as a manager, but i could be remembering wrong
Good video, I’ll go with Don Gullett.
thank you !
Doesn’t Vic Correll look like Dennis Quaid??
kind of ! i like Dennis Quaid
Obviously repacked! Collation doesn’t match
crud, i didn't know that/the correlelation on these
The cards were majorly off center
yup. i've been lucky with some 70s packs, but this one was a bad cut
Vic Correll never managed in the majors or minors. You must be getting him confused with pat Corrales.
that's probably it ! sorry
@@ilovebaseballcards9334 no worries
Probably would have more views 30 minutes to open a pack a cards is insane
