The mis cut ‘62 Frank Howard is awesome! That Verdugo card I think is a “prism refractor”. The amount of different parallels are just stupid nowadays. Great video.

I lived in Michigan and in these packs we had these cards in "Minis" mixed with full size. They were mostly the mini size. I sold in 2008 two Mini George Brett rookies for $500 each and a Robin Yount for $300. Sold a mini Nolan Ryan for $100. Wish i still had them today!!!

Moron collectors seem abundant. Redundant and psa is lovin this. Feed the plastic encapsulating monster. Modern cards trimmed is a sign your buying from a bad place....period

When I was 11 years old, I remember clearly visiting my uncle in Upstate N.Y. and I had my mom buy me lords knows how many rack packs. seems like it was yesterday. If we only knew what we know now.

Lots of image variations in ‘77 OPC, somewhere between 80-100, if I remember correctly. Check out the Tony Perez. Not only is it a different picture, he’s also on a different team (Expos). A great deal of the variations are from the Expos and the then-new expansion teams Blue Jays and Mariners. Where Topps used airbrushed hats for players on the new teams, OPC, which released later in ‘77, were able to acquire some actual pictures from either spring training or early in the season. Blue Jays rookie outfielder Sam Ewing, who didn’t appear in Topps at all, had a card in OPC. Usually OPC was a truncated mirroring of Topps with some occasional deviations (different backs on ‘71 and ‘74 for example), but ‘77 was wildly different.

My favorite pack ripper on RUclips by far.....you actually care about the hobby of card collecting unlike most RUclips pack rippers who just fly through the cards only caring about numbered, memorabilia,autograph and rookie cards and are gluttons going to every local retail store buying EVERYTHING they have...very well done sir

Good stuff. The box was surprisingly solid. 79 OPC was good but I thought that 84 rack was about as good as you can get. Love the little cut in with the 77 OPC Carter, I looked it up and it’s definitely pricier than the Topps lol. I’m guessing being the lone Canadian star had something to do with the different picture.

Solid rip on the 79! I like the OPC version better than Topps. Too bad on the centering but super fun anyway!

Great video. Fun to watch. A couple of notes: 1. Toby Harrah and Buddy Bell were indeed traded for each other, straight up. They had very similar career #'s with Bell's being slightly better. Both were very good players, so not really commons. ;) 2. Rick Monday was picked 1st overall in the 1965 draft and signed for $104k. That is what Tom Seaver based his $50k demand on when the Dodgers drafted him in 1966. The rest was detailed in my Tom Seaver video you've already seen. :)
