Your plant based diet definitely shows. You’ve been looking even more gorgeous and your skin is so radiant 😊 There’s an innate shine that comes through, like you’re aging backwards 😆
I’m so grateful that they have open minds & willing to give a try! So far they love it & Jacob mentioned that he can’t imagine himself eating animal products again 😍
@@SeonkyoungLongest ah congratulations on your success! My siblings are still full of excuses and prefers not to watch any of the documentaries I have recommended "in case it spoils their appetite for flesh" 😰
My girlfriend and I made this last night and generally I have been intimidated to make Bahn Mi because of prep time and finding ingredients. However. I came home from a twelve hour shift and we were done eating and had the kitchen cleaned within forty minutes. I also unloaded the dish washer and folded laundry in that time. We make a good team and this chanel makes some of the greatest recipes I always come back to. Simple and delicious. Will be coming back to this one in the near future.

I have been pescatarian for the past few years with the occasional eating of SPAM (don’t judge, I grew up in Hawaii) but you finally gave me the encourage I needed to go fully vegan. It’s been going on for about a month and a half now, and I feel wonderful. Full of energy, and I just ‘feel’ healthy and clean if that makes sense. Recently I ordered these things called ‘soy curls’. Highly recommend you try!! They are very nice texture, I stir fry them with soy sauce and garlic powder and it is delicious!! I might put them in this banh mi recipe when I make it🤗
No judging here! I actually don’t miss eating any meats but time to time I miss spam or sausage 😂😂😂 thank you for the recommendations!! I will give a try!
No judgement in Hawaii we grow up eating spam. It’s almost a weekly staple and guaranteed to be in your home lunch for field trips 🤣 it’s hard to replace spam musubi but I’ve had some good tofu musubis.
The humble Spam that's ubiquitous to Hawaii cuisine 😁. Honestly after going veg a while, I really don't miss it despite growing up, you'd never see me passed up a teriyaki Spam musubi. Just a tip when you go veg, take a vegan multi-vitamin everyday and add lots of nutritional yeast to your diet. These are essentials.
@Casey Greyson Soy Curls are indeed AWESOME!!! I made a Vegan Tom Yum and added soy curls...so tasty!! I am always telling my meat eating friends how delicious soy curls are and that they can take on the flavor of anything they are seasoned with, along with the look of chicken strips or beef strips which are perfect for stir fries, tacos, etc! 😊
Lemon grass IS life! 😭 when I was younger all the way til my mom passed away. Everything she cooked always contain lemon grass. So good. Without it, what is life anymore??
Not that your weren't as beautiful as a goddess before but since you've switched to plant based you are positively glowing! You've inspired me to cook like this more often!

Thank you for not deleting your old recipes 🙏 I just finished making your shrimp basil fried rice.. just that instead of shrimp I used tofu and the just egg to substitute the scrambled egg🤗🤭 it was just as delicious!!!! Thank you 😊
Hi Seonkyoung! We have made several of your recipes so far, and they have always been amazing. We made the mushroom pâté and pickled daikon and carrots last night to let all the flavors infuse. We picked up some vietnamese banh mi this morning and put everything together for lunch. HOLY SMOKES!! It was amazing. I honestly didn’t expect so much flavor and didn’t think it could taste on par with the banh mi I get at my local shops. I couldn’t stop raving all day about it!!! I told my sister and mom to come by so I could share this with them. I never really comment, but I just felt you really needed to know! We appreciate all the hard work in the videos you put out. I love your channel ❤️
Your Banh mi looks amazing! I make a pate based on walnuts that is amazing that I use in my banh mi sandwich. I also use a ginger/lemongrass seasoned soy curls. The pickle makes it! Sweet, Savory, Sour and Spicy makes a great Banh mi! Thanks! And thanks for being plant based!
I’m not a plant-based eater yet but I’ve been making your recipes just cuz I have made ALL of your recipes already after all these years lol and I love them! I just made your pate recipe just to try it cuz I’ve never really liked the original one and I like this plant based one! Lol
I am super excited about your new path that you have chosen. I am not entirely plant based but I do love a plant based meal from time to time. I am so happy you brought the term to what you and I are (flexitarian). I hope to meet you as we live in the same area. Don’t judge me if I go fanboy. Lol.

I just made this and the extra soy sauce from the clay pot to drizzle. You hit it out of the ball park with this one!!! Amazing flavors. I unfortunately can not use MSG cuz I’m allergic to it. I did substitute with a mushroom seasoning so it will add flavor to the tofu (worked perfectly). I am in love with the vegan pate! It’s so good!!! Thank you for this recipe! I just shared it with a friend of mine and told her to try your recipe. 😋😋😋
Delicious! I have also made vegan banh mi two or three times before and it was delicious. I also used to make lemongrass tofu, though I varied the seasoning. I even made homemade baguette once! I will make sure to try your pate recipe.
So I have tried a few coconut butters and were really disappointed and never finished it cuz it was really bad. The one you use, OMG! It’s SO good. You taste actual coconuts…it’s so creamy good. I’m gonna make your vegan banh mi today for lunch. I’m really excited!
