Whenever you have room in the car, I encourage you to pick up a globe for Dalton. I had one as a kid and it was the very best "educational" toy ever. From it, I developed an amazing knowledge of the world that still serves me at age 59! Plus, now there's Google to answer all those questions that he surely will be asking about the countries, oceans, mountains, rivers, etc., etc.

Hi Kat & Dalton! Everything you produce about Key West makes me happy. Seeing you thrift in the Salvation Army & watching the black dog rolling on the cool floor brought back some memories. One of my friends we were visiting in Key West back in the 70's knew the lady who was Manager of the Salvation Army Thrift Store. We had met her & went over to check out the store. She had rescued this most beautiful husky dog that someone had brought to Key West & abandoned. The husky would go to the store when she was working. And that was considered normal. This dog had such a warm coat that he mostly spent of his time in front of a big fan. He had such a lovely disposition. Seeing the black dog reminded me of the husky ~ the tradition goes way back.

That greyhound pillow is beautiful. The Laurel Birch purse... I have never seen a purse from her. My mom used to be Laurel Birch obsessed. We raised and showed Persians, so we're cat lovers.
And Hello Dalton!! He was so good while you shopped!! My granddaughter sings, waves her arms around, and jumps up-and-down the entire time we are at goodwill. So I have to tell her to keep her hand on the basket. I always joke around and say she has ants in her pants. But I let her loose on the very wide toy aisle. She plays with the barbies and all of the doll houses. And she loves digging for treasures with me. I let her pick something out to take home to her older brother.

Fun haul. Dalton is a very well behaved young man. You are blessed. I am confused about profit. The jewelry box was priced 15.00. You thought it would sell for 50.00, so profit around 35.00. You said that would not be enough. But the profit on the hats would only be around.13.00 and you kept those. So, how do you decide?? Happy thrifting
That's before fees fees on $50 is around $10 so only 25 to spend 15 for packaging a large item

I have boxes full of coffee mugs. I swap them out for each holiday, on my coffee bar. I have a bunch that I'm going to sell as well. But I'm moving soon, so they're all packed up.
