12:23 there is another glitch in pinna Park in episode 4, if you wake up a Koopa lead it to the entrance to pinna Park, if you get him to the right corner he will trap you and constantly hit you, use the hover nozzle to get through the door and into pinna Park, sadly you can't explore but if you side step into the stairs, you will get the exact same results as this glitch.
When I played this as a kid, I found an out-of-bounds entry point in Delfino Plaza not mentioned in this video. I clipped through a crate near the shiny area that warps you to Noki Bay. I didn't know about the jumping thing though so I would keep dying.
Sunshine may be loaded with glitches and unfinished but its still a fun game. Its actually ny favorite Mario game. I'm just sad how short it is. With only 7 stages
Also with the goopy inferno there is a pool where you can make mario splash water on some of the goop and if you’re patient enough you can reveal enough to get on top o mushrooms like that and you don’t have to take any damage.
you don't need to reset the game using a full tank of rocket storage, it just sends you so high that the map isn't loaded, as you fall, more of the islands load and you do eventually land

Is this already known? And if so what’s it called? Being able to move but also turn at that speed on land i feel could be utilized somehow if the mechanics behind it were learned and then abused.
With the caged shine sprite you could also just store a bunch of rockets and then just try to land in from the top neither are easy but just storing the rockets is honestly easier.

I really want to try rocket storage, but don't want to have to buy a gamecube just to do it. And I bet if they re-release Sunshine for the Switch (Which I do have) Nintendo will almost certainly remove that glitch and all others ((Even if it's still there at launch, game updates would also likely kill it eventually) so I'm stuck. I mean, I love the Gamecube (I grew up with one) but it's still a lot of effort just to do one glitch!
Actually, I don't think the Mario dying from not wearing his hat is a glitch at all. It might have been intended to indicate he was starting to overheat until he passes out. Hats, even with brims as small as Mario's, provide just enough shade to stay cool. We only see it as a glitch because he didn't take damage in Super Mario 64. I know this video is 3 years old, but, do you think I'm right? I'm using logic here.
Hi i think i discovered a glitch or something i was playing in bianco hills episode 6 and went to grab the rocket nozzle i grabbed it and i remember that i entered a rope jumped and get fall damage but when i was falling i was charging the rocket get the damage and bum all the wáter is gone and now im in the sky i think i got stuck forever theese happened to me like 5 minutes ago
Ricar2002 YT You probably replicated Rocket Storage. If you stand on a rope and charge the rocket nozzle repeatedly you will store rockets. If you are then hit by an enemy on the rope you will have a resultant force from your rockets sending you way up into the sky. 5:54 in the video.

I managed to get that Pianta village glitch accidentally as a kid and was extremely confused about what I did.

That's actually correct. the faster ferris wheel doesn't have any collision so don't expect it to send Mario flying.
