    Did you make that eye punch for your press? I have the hammer punch but I no they don’t make a tomahawk punch for the 12 ton.

    • @BoarLord13
      @BoarLord13  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes i made it. At the time i got the press i believe they made a punch tool for it but i just made my own. The punch i made would work for hammers al well.

  • @jmbstudio6873

    Use some beeswax on that punch or some type of lubricant. You are killing the punch without it. Some hammer makers use a touch of grease.

      So far i haven't needed to but i'm sure you're right, I also made the punch out of H13 so its probably the toughest steel i could use. Thanks for watching and the tip...

    what type of drill bit have you used ?

    • @BoarLord13
      @BoarLord13  9 месяцев назад

      Nothing special really, i believe they are the Milwaukee brand bi-metal bits. started with 1/8th and worked up to 3/8ths before die grinding.
