Amazing!!! I'm gobsmacked - that a forward pass that would have resulted in a try was actually called. She must be the best ref in the league
and to give the Tigers the win too.... I'm still in shock.
Missed a forward pass earlier in the same set (and others during the game)! Directly resulted in a try to win the match (only reason it was called back). 😂

Will it be the Tiges who will be on a hat trick of spoons not seen since the early 1960s, or with it be 2022 grand finalists Parra attaining the unbelievable by going down to last within two seasons. Much tears and joys of laughter to be made for the next few weeks.

I feel the same way and I'm a Souths fan! Honestly, the Bunnies season is a write-off and the Tigers' supporters deserve some joy. Plus, the game needs the Spoonbowl in round 27.

I go for south’s and remember when they were talking about 8 from 10 wins to make the 8- about 2 months ago 😂 can’t even beat the tigers

It was like watching a couple reserve grade sides. The proper first graders really stood out like a sore thumb against guys that really aren’t up to that standard on both sides of the pitch.
It was forward, but the Storm throw 10 of those every game without getting called.

There are So many forward passes that create tries in the nrl, im so over it.
Create tries = allowed to go.
Directly result in match winning try = called forward! 😮
@@multioptioned That makes no sense, you contradict yourself. Creating tries IS a try, yes? So are they allowed or denied?
I do agree that there are way too many forward passes allowed in the modern game, I think the "powers that be" encouraged too much leeway to allow for the "faster game" they always want. So now we have regressed to basically touch football.
@iffracem a forward pass in the lead up to a try ("creates" a try later on) will be let go. A forward pass that "directly" results in a try being scored from that final pass to decide a match will be pulled up. Both occurred in this situation.
I have no doubit in my mind if that was for the first try of the game that pass at the end of the game would have been let go. Inconsistent NFL/NRL refs have only themselves to blame because worse forward passes have been let go.

Only called back as directly resulted in match winning try! Otherwise, the referee would have let it go too 😂

You are kidding, she was woeful in all areas of referring. It’s obvious she is following Klein and the Suttons. She missed many other forward passes throughout the game. The NRL need to rid these three from games, never to be seen again!

She was as good as any male referee. Refs rely on touch judges and the TMO.

is that the rule in todays nrl? Grant Anderson had a try denied a couple of weeks ago when it was clearly his hand under the ball. Seems like maybe the rule got changed? I dunno.
It used to be the arm holding the ball but the laws got changed in 2013 to the ball actually has to touch the ground.
@darrenwhite3688 sadly it did get changed,along with others about TD tries,which allows Bunker do take away so many amazing fair tries,Pom League Bunker light years in front of ours,quicker & get it right much more

Not a fan of either team but that last pass was flat at best
I saw it go minimum 1 metre forward, maybe even 1.5…. So many passes in the NRL that go half a metre forward don’t get called and get called ‘flat’. Was good to see a definite forward pass get called. Usually those forward passes that are part of a game winner, or passes to score to tie games close to the end get let go. Finally the correct call was made.
