      @@JaedonTalksDynasty totally get it.
      For me, there’s just way less questions and far less things that can go wrong for saquons situation than breece & bijan. This offense will be elite, we know that. They were still 8th in EPA per play last year with the worst OC in football and no Saquon. They add Kellen Moore to replace Brian Johnson, a proven OC who’s led some of the most dynamic offenses in the nfl the last 5 years and then ofc add saquon. Where as breece & Bijan we don’t know. We expect both offenses will be elite this year but we don’t actually know that. Not to mention if AROD or Kirk aren’t the same guys as they were pre Achilles and then there’s question marks for both play callers as well. Hackett sucks and Robinson is a first time playcaller so will he be able to handle it? We don’t know yet. Just my stance at the moment

  • @kevinvest9693

    Jacobs is going to have a massive year behind the best o-line and Qb he has ever played with. Idk why hes so low? I see a 60- 40 split with Marshawn Loyd but i think they can both finish top 20 in fantasy. Josh Jacobs is only 26 years old and matt Laflur wants to run the ball more not less.

    • @BrandonAffonso
      @BrandonAffonso  Месяц назад

      @@kevinvest9693 I like Jacobs, I think he’s a very good player. However, I don’t believe the receiving work will go his way and as you said, I see a true split backfield here which ultimately limits his upside imo. The GB Packers OL was also just marginally better of a run blocking unit than the Raiders last year and Jacobs was absolutely awful (I think for a variety of factors)
      I can see a world where Jacobs has a massive bounce back season with a ton of efficient work on the ground and a ton of TD’s on an elite offense but at this moment, I would just prefer guys with bigger workloads who also see the receiving work to go along with the goal line work.. My opinion on him could very well change once we get to training camp.

    Brandon the only thing I trust Barkley to do is end up on the IR. You're a bit biased as an Eagle fan even with his obvious talent he's perennially on my don't draft list. The goal is to not get cornered into taking him. He's the Mike Trout of the NFL.

    • @BrandonAffonso
      @BrandonAffonso  Месяц назад +2

      @@eddya.3776 fair.. and I certainly don’t expect everyone to agree with me on my stance on Saquon, however it’s not bias at all! Just as you said, with his obvious talent, he’s a rare player and you compare him to Mike Trout which is awesome… those are the types of talents in elite situations that I’m chasing. If those guys hit (or stay healthy) they’re league winning. I also don’t believe Saquon is as injury prone as he might be perceived to be either. He’s only missed 6 of 50 possible games the last three years! Even if he misses 2-3 this year, I’ll take that in place of the games he’s healthy with his potential to average over 20 FPPG.
      Thank you for watching and giving your input! Always appreciated.

    Would absolutely love to see Javonte Williams get traded to Dallas-I think he’d be so explosive-although Rico Dowdle and Malik Davis are serviceable - JW would shine - especially with his ability to break away after charging head on into the line - just another weapon to keep defenses on their heels with Brandin Cooks, Jake Ferguson Cee Dee and Jalen Tolbert

    Barkley is an injury waiting to happen, also he is not getting any goal line carries with Hurts as the QB and the Eagles system, thinking otherwise is just being delusional, don't take Barkley unless you get him at least late first round (11 or 12) pick or preferably second round, just not worth the risk. In addition is this ranking PPR, Half PPR or non PPR? please specify this because rankings are completely different depending on the format.

    • @BrandonAffonso
      @BrandonAffonso  Месяц назад

      I think the statement of Barkley being an injury waiting to happen is a bit of an exaggeration. Since the ACL in 2020 he’s only missed 6 of 50 possible games. I also specified why I believe he will see just as much if not more goal line work in 2024 than Swift did in 2023, the data is there. The eagles tried to use Swift on the goal line and the red zone, he was just awful there. This also isn’t the same eagles system we’ve grown accustomed to with the addition of Kellen Moore at OC, that plays a huge factor here. I also believe I stated a few times that this was based on Half PPR but I could be wrong so my apologies.

  • @ethanolthegoat
    @ethanolthegoat Месяц назад +2

    Barkley is rb 6 and back end round 1 at best. He’s in a loaded eagles offense. Hurts is gonna hoard most of the ground and lots of tds. And Gibbs is definitely higher than Bijan and Breece. He’s def. Gonna surpass Montgomery in 3 down work everything except goal line which is still gonna be split. He’s a pure runner and has an explosive offensive line. Top 5 and he catches passes…

    • @ethanolthegoat
      @ethanolthegoat Месяц назад

      He didn’t even say more than 10 carries in more than 5 games. He still is way more explosive and a way better runner than Montgomery. That’s just wrong. I would also say Taylor needs to be bumped down to 7-9 because of Richardson and the Oline isn’t as strong as it used to be.

    • @BrandonAffonso
      @BrandonAffonso  Месяц назад

      Gibbs is awesome! And I definitely agree he will see all the receiving work as I stated, he’s fantastic there! I just still personally think David Montgomery will be heavily involved in this offense as a 1st & 2nd down grinder as well as taking a ton of goal line carries which is why Gibbs is outside of my top 5 but that could absolutely change once training camps over with!
      JT is an interesting case as well. He’s in line for 300 touches assuming he stays healthy & the Anthony Richardson effect at QB taking eyes of him in the run game will be huge.. however he’ll see minimal passing work and have some goal line work stolen so I see your argument there!
      Thanks for watching!
