Donna Summer "I Feel Love" is one of the many timeless songs from the seventies. I remember hearing it at the roller rink when I was eleven or twelve or thereabouts, with the main lights turned down and the disco mirror ball throwing around reflections as the song pulsed through the sound system. It was one of the first pop songs to use synthesizers for everything but the kick drum and vocals. So watching a live band play the song is interesting in itself but so much better with her singing it.
my favorite donna song -- so creative, so innovative, so new, so sexy. She wrote, she produced, she sang, she played, she did it all. A tremendous talent. This one in particular brought a new wave of synthesizer, synch, techno, electronic vibe into mainstream music. And she was gorgeous too.
I remember reading an article that mentioned David Bowie listening to this song for the first time. He declared, "This is the music of the future!" He wasn't wrong; you can hear the influence in Electronic/Techno Dance music. Anyway, yes, Donna Summer had an amazing voice. (R.I.P., Donna.) Plus, she was easy on the eyes.
Love your reaction Fay🎉🎉🎉🎉
Donna was Queen of the late 70s. Arguably the most beautiful singer ever
