This is a fantastic news. No, power did not go up significantly - the extra displacement will probably make it easier to keep up with the norms. But all those changes introduced are for the better - nothing was taken away from the bike. Plus it means that we will get to buy this lovely air cooled tractor for few years more. Thank you Royal Enfield!
"Lovely air cooled tractor" Priceless. I dont see any big increases in figures but as stated this will smooth an already nice Torque curve, supposee the 6 speed box will satisfy speed demons 🙂 Its really down to Torque and tubless is it enough to chamge my 411 ? ? ?
@@funkygrib1 I guess what we need to see is, how those 6 gears are distributed to see how much of an advantage that will bring. I will be impatiently waiting for the reviews to pour in in the early 2025.
Very much like the way this company is progressing, continuous refinement of what was good to begin with is absolutely the way to go. It is good to see this platform still kept going alongside the new water cooled 450s, something for everyone. Choice, economy and improving quality, always very cool machines. Now days I rarely need to look outside their catalogue!
The real review will come after it's release. The suspension, mileage, performance, low end torque, heating issues, all will be revealed after it's release.
Hello Motoscribes.. Your reviews all are good. This one i have seen more eagerly as this RE-Scram - is of interest to me. For few years im in sight 😜 with this scram-411 thing. But shyed away due to Tube-Tyres scare😮. But, now RE has finally woken up from deep-sleep 😴 and introduced "a Hassle-free TubeLess Tyres with Alloys in Scram-411 model" this review i looked at very keenly of what you say with your nice accent 😅 with you analysis. It was all good review, but u missed the colours option completely till end. As u say, u r impressed and looking forward to ride checkout..im waiting for your ride-review and decide to book and take this. 😊 So, until that i'm waiting..
I have subbed, can you do a back to back 411 x 440 To ensure we see and are told everything, I beleive this is going to be a test about "feel/experiance" more than performance.
Very true…the 440 is more about it being a better version of what the 411 kickstarted…refinement was the focus. Once it launches in 2025…we will try and do a comparison for sure!
Two very different bikes, so it boils down to what you are looking for. The honda is more of an easy ride - good for the occasional long trip too. The scram is built for adventure yet is decent in the city…
Bigger displacement from the same engine means that the mileage will get affected. The only reason they didn't upgrade it to 450 is because it'll conflict with the Guerrilla, which itself is a scrambler in all but name.
It’s rebored from 411cc to 443cc …a small increase that won’t affect mileage..because it also gets a 6th gear for cruising…Thecreason it doesn’t get the 450 is primarily because that engine behaves different…higher revving. This engine is like a tractor…good low end torque..that is where the Scram following comes from! Guerilla has its place and so does the Scram 440!
Depends on your priorities, the 250 Duke feels quicker but the Scram is more versatile when it comes to adventure travel. Also I think the Scram won’t be as aggressive to ride as the Duke.
Its the same old 411cc air/oil cooled engine that has been bored out to 443cc. Scram 440 is only meant to be a budget scrambler to replace the Scram 411. Another scrambler based on the liquid cooled Sherpa 450 may come later.

The intention was to refine the bike and not make a whole new Scram. Fix the bugs…as we would say 😉
@ indeed seems like it.

Yes. We can only review it after it launches….
I like the air cooling, just like my 2005 Kawasaki W650 looks a good bike ,i must have a good look at one.
Yes…Jan it will be available
Will they change the dash before the release?

Thanks! The colour options are really nice and fit the personality of the bike perfectly! Jan 2025 we should get the bike for a detailed review!
Hello,
thanks for this information but when should this upgrade arrive in France ??
We will know after its official launch in January 2025.
@@MotorScribes Understood, thank you.
What is the expected price? When it will be available in the market?
Slightly extra 10000 from411
Jan 2025. Prices will be announced then.

Should have put 650 in this. Love this design
They did. It’s called the Bear 650. haha
That would be very cool!
@@MotorScribes Hmmm TriTON, TriBSA, NorVin. 650 RE into a 411 RE is a RE. we would need a snappy name !
if i compare honda cb350rs and scram440 which one should i go for

Scram's a screamin'. Wicked good.

this or 250 duke which one is better for beginner

It’s a shame there is virtually no HP difference from the 411. Why didn’t they make it more HP like they did the Himalayan?
Its not liquid cooled and made for low end torque for hills and city but not highway.

@@vineethg6259 Guerrilla 450
This is an upgrade for better refinement while keeping the tractor-like pulling power intact.
Exactly
Scram 440 vs scrambler 400 x which is more practical and best motorcycle
The Scram 440 is basically a massive improvement over the Scram411..which is gonna be discontinued after the 440 launches in Jan
@@MotorScribes could you please compare it with scrambler 400x
Scrambler 400x is an excellent all purpose bike but the price is a bit high and mileage is not fit for the daily commute for max people.
For me it should bring the new digital panel and the turn signals of the Himalayan 450
This was more about small changes and tweaks, but yes, a new cluster would have been nice too!
Did they manage to shave off some weight?
Not really… they worked on overall refinement…
I want that new engine in my Himalayan.
The new Himalayan gets a bigger and newer 450cc. This is the re-bored 411cc which now offers 440cc and a tiny bump in power and torque.
over priced...no liquid cool
Price hasn’t even been announced 🤓
Not liquid cooled ??? OMG must be a real motorcycle !
